The best restaurants in Whalley Range Manchester North West

Been coming here for about 10 years and the food is great. Breakfast, coffee and snack or a late lunch! Most importantly the lovely people make this place what it is and Whalley Range would t be the same without them. 10 ⭐

This is the most welcoming bar in Chorlton! Staff are great, the people are great, the music/DJ’s are great and the drinks are cheap. What more do you want from a bar? Every time I come I meet new people, make great friends and have a laugh. Jam Street never disappoints!

Only bathrooms need regular cleaning.

No dogs allowed inside any more was the message I got today. They say they are enhancing the outdoor comfort for dogs. No point telling me that - Im a regular who isnt coming back again. I predict this decision will negatively affect the profits as there were frequently doggies inside for years. I expect they will closing down soon. Next thing dogs wont be allowed in the park or on buses - thats the situation in australia sadly.

Food quality, quantity, taste all very good. Service was also very good. Staff was cooperative and well mannered. Rates are also very reasonable.

The time kept getting pushed back so it was over an hour for 2 burgers. They arrived cold and slightly hard.

Ordered via Uber Eats (delivery was abysmal, but that is outside of their control) Over an hour past the expected delivery time, we called the restaurant. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly dismissive and said there was no order and we must be mistaken. It was ordered via an app…pretty hard to get that confused. She repeatedly claimed that there was no order, despite having the audit trail of payment, order confirmation and driver pick-up. Reading through the reviews, customer service doesn’t appear to be their forte anyway! Food eventually arrived two hours after ordering and was obviously cold. (Again, not their fault) Generally underwhelming- had the create your own noodle box, no veg whatsoever in it. Minimal sauce. The rice version was mushy and greasy. The wings may have been good, but as we had to reheat them in the air fryer, it’s hard to judge. I’ve ordered many times from here and it can be hit and miss, but the lack of customer service and accusing my partner of making up the order was the nail in the coffin for us.
