One of my best experiences, will surely be returning here, as it’s the best shawarma at a fair price, I HIGHLY recommend this place! As a person who visits Manchester almost twice a year, this place is amazing, 100%, the place isn’t very big, but is perfect if you’re not many people, also there is a place to wash you’re hands too which makes this a great place to eat in!

I don’t often leave reviews but the food was outstanding and the best curry I have had in a long time. Shared a chicken jalfrezi and chicken rogan josh with my partner. Both dishes came out piping hot, large portions and plenty of meat that literally fell apart. Will definitely return here again.

Many times I have found that restaurants with a wide offering of different foods tend to be rather mediocre at everything and exceptional at nothing. That is not the case for Bardez... the taste and quality of all the food was pretty top notch. Spice levels are on point, so if you can't handle much spice make sure you ask for it mild: the chef doesn't mess around. We had the Tandori mix grill (the kebab and prawns were the highlight of this), the Chow-mein noodles (a surprise delight... even at medium hot it was too much to handle for some of our party), taarka daal (mild), and the vegetable dum biriyani (yummy). What made the night really awesome was that the owner came over to us. He is from a place called Bardez in Goa (which is where the restaurant gets its name) and looks like Mr. Tee (I'm not even joking). He's such a nice guy and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying the food and that the service was great. I will definitely be going back.

I am a regular customer of Al Shamyat. I come to it all the way from Blackpool and Sheffield when I used to live there. It is the real taste of delicious Syrian Pastries. The prices are really reasonable and the taste is unmatched !! The staff are dead nice and always happy to help with your order. I highly recommend Al Shamyat. والله من افضل مطاعم الفطاير في مانشستر. انصح فيه وبشدة يا شباب.

Prices are very high. The quality is not there. Brisket fries tasted horrible. This place is overhyped and not worth it.
