Hi, I’m a regular customer at Manchester Shawarma. Today I have been forced to write this review. We visited today and there was a worker that was wearing a pair gloves that he used to clean the store with. Instead of changing his gloves, he washed them with just WATER. I kindly requested the staff member to change his gloves. The wear of the gloves colour had changed from blue to light blue. The staff member in a very rude manner declined and said ‘no’. We have seen the staff member clean the floor etc. We asked again and he declined. Then the other member of staff had to intervene and put on a new pair of gloves. The most disappointing part is that they had a whole gloves box there for them. Now gloves should be changed when cleaning and changed again when preparing food for the customers. On top of this he was justifying by saying he has washed his gloves, what about chemicals that have touched them (such as bleach). They don't simply wash off with water. My wife didn’t buy anything as she was concerned about the hygiene. Could I kindly request this to be looked into? As this is very unhygienic. It can also lose you customers. Kind regards Mo

Best shawarma around. Good portions, fair pricing, decent quality, great and friendly service. They made me a shawarma and cheesy chips and it was amazing, they melted the cheese and everything. They also didn't try and mug me off on the price after I'd been drinking late on a Friday night, as another place further down the street did. Highly recommended, will be coming back again (and again, and again).

£4.50 for a mixed shawarma probably the best I have had. Friendly staff and great service.

The quality and freshness is on point, first time visiting this spot and the freshness of the chicken shawarma and salads was appreciated. I’ve had shawarma at other establishments around the Northwest and this by far is best the shawarma I’ve had. Great and swift service and the bread is prepared fresh, only let down is there is not a huge seating area. Highly recommended will be back!

Very cheap and cheerful. Very good selection of kebabs sold at a fair price. It's part of what makes takeaway food in Rusholme so competitive. Generous helpings of meat lamb or chicken. All freshly cooked, prepared and served in front of you. Wide selection of fresh salad accompients. The nan all freshly cooked in front of you. For anyone eating on the run or on a budget this place is well suited.

I visited this shop because of my friend recommendation. But upon visit I have noticed that the staff was very rude . The chicken was the very smelly I don't know how people are eating that🤮.very disappointed.

Called in here for a quick snack. Was spotless inside, staff were very friendly. We ordered a chicken shawarma wrap which was delicious and huge considering it was £3.50. Food is prepared fresh infront of you. Excellent value for money and tasty fresh food. We sat in and they had a little sink and hand-wash at the back. We were also able to pay by card. Would highly recommend.

The meat in shawarma is pretty much the same everywhere. This place excels with its breads and is what makes it the best shawarma you'll find. Try the fatayer made using the same bread, well worth a visit or 9.

Some of the best Shawarma if eaten, period, and very reasonably priced at that, costing now £3.50 for a chicken shawarma wrap. Best thing for me is the freshly cooked bread with every wrap! - makes it! Thought this place had closed down until recently, but it just moved from the the tiny adjacent shop to next door. Glad to know the Manchester staple is back. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend!

Easily the best shawarma around. Big portions and well priced. The lamb fatayer is my favourite item. Service is very quick. Only let down is that they only take cash payment (cash point is however nearby) and the chips are very oily.

The food was horrible wasting money , taste really bad. I bought a Falafel with a hair inside, really disgusting... I had to throw it away, and lamb shawarma tasted really awful. A very low standards of hygiene, under standard. Not worth it even one star.
