Very poor choice of cooked food that was expensive and not available until 12.00. Need to get up to date as to what other galleries are offering for the same price. Go to the Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh for some ideas. Sorry but we not visit the gallery again.

I'd passed this place many times, but this was my first visit. I'd dropped my car off at a local garage, and thought i'd try the brekkie here. It was around 8.30am. It's a typical Wethies, nicely laid out, and it was scrupulously clean. Seated I perused the menu, and ordered the large English breakfast at the bar. Service was good, and the staff friendly. Brekkie consisted of: 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, 3 hash brown's, beans, and a mushroom. First impression, I didn't think it looked that large, on arrival, maybe a large plate :) But it was more than enough, nicely cooked and decent ingredients. To drink, the tea and coffee is bottomless, and so I helped myself to a number of cups. All in all, a pleasant first visit. I'd have no qualms going again if I had business up that way in the future.

New set up great , doorman fantastic. . But the drinks not so good if you complain and manager does not want to investigate . Bad .. no longer a customer x 23 people in party . .. 3 x grey goose not so good and he refused to investigate complaint ?!!!! We left drinks and then caused a fuss with door man .. you need sacking for not investigating knob manager .. !!!

The atmosphere was amazing. The tunes were brilliant and the staff are really friendly. However, the food was nuked in the microwave. I had the rice balls and 50% were ice cold and the garlic potatoes were too hot to eat right away. Don't get me wrong, the food was lovely but the presentation was not the best, the bread was literally bread 5 ways, no spread or butter, the potatoes were presented as 16 boiled potatoes in a bowl, and as I said, felt like the food was microwaved. For the sky bar, I would go just for the drinks and to take in the views, maybe eat before you come here.

We wanted a nice brunch together after a visit to the vets nearby, but we had our dog with us. We were delighted to find this cafe that made it clear dogs were welcome inside. Husband had a full English and said it was particularly good. I had some tasty cheese on toast which was just what I fancied, and something which you canât always get. Finn, our collie, got his own bowl of water once weâd sat down, and ordered his own special portion of chopped sausage and black pudding. He didnât give a review. He was too busy inhaling it. The new owners havenât been here long, but I wish them well and hope to be passing by again soon.

We have been waiting months for our favourite indian restaurant to reopen and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious as always and the new manager and his team did a great job of welcoming us back. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was really chilled. We are looking forward to going back and taking the family with us next week

Worst chippy I've ever been in my life. If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid at all costs. Wildly overpriced for food that is so bad if it was below average that would be a step up. Honestly, starve yourself before going here it's that bad

This is my must go to place when I visit Liverpool but I cannot understand why it isnât more busy. The staff are always friendly and present and you can watch the world go by if you get a window seat. I would say they need more staff especially to cover staff when they go on their lunch break. We arrived at 1pm for the place to be closed, but told to come back after 2pm
