The best restaurants in Castle Lancaster North West

Discovered this little gem just before Christmas, have been a couple of times since. Great selection of drinks, especially Dortmunder, haven't eaten there yet but plan to soon!

Outstanding food, great service, and excellent value

Fui a Los Tres Marineros con mi marido, hijo y nuestro perro. Tuve tres comidas encantadoras. Cuatro realmente porque Molly tenía salchichas. No esperé mucho y todos estaban calientes. Servicio amable. Sin duda volvería de nuevo

A really nice cosy alehouse. A very comfortable place to sit and enjoy a beer. On a cold winter’s evening waiting for a train I had a pint of Lancashire Blonde. A really good beer at only £4.60. Brilliant atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great little pub

Incredible coffee in an unsuspecting location! A real treat when visiting the castle or if you happen to be passing through Lancaster! We arrived at 1pm and pretty much sold out of sandwiches so get there early!

Wow this place is amazing!! The staff are so warm and welcoming and helped us choose our food which was SO delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and the tea and mojitos were gorgeous too! I can’t wait to go back!

Some of the worst chips I've had at least fish was passable

Excellent pizza wether you like the thicker style or the thin crust they're both great, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Great customer service also

Lovely pub with good food and great service.

Very lovely staff but very frustrated that it's listed as wheelchair accessible as it is not - there is a 4 inch step at the door and no ramp available. Staff are lovely and happy to come out to take an order but there's no call button available so you have to get someone's help to get their attention.

Not the restaurant for you if you enjoy actually getting the table you reserved. We booked a week in advance, then had our booking moved back 45 minutes, then arrived to be told that there was no table for us at all. Why not ring us in advance? Staff seemed pretty indifferent. Avoid and go somewhere more organised.

Amazing ‘Golden Gate’ burger and sweet potato fries. Would 100% order food from here again when we are next in the area 🍔
