The best restaurants in Castle Lancaster North West

Stopped for lunch, just had a sandwich and the salt and pepper fries, the food was really tasty, the wine excellent and the ambience great. Would definitely return.

Visité aquí el sábado por la noche con la familia durante un fin de semana fuera de Lancaster. Nos encantó aquí. El ambiente es relajado y acogedor. La comida es un poco rústica, sin pretensiones cocinada en casa comida de Langashire. Realmente disfrutamos. La camarera del bar era genial... La pobre estaba sola y el lugar estaba bastante ocupado. Sentí que un par de clientes eran groseros con ella, pero ella lo manejó bien, a través de los dientes apretados... Sacó bebidas rápidamente a pesar de lo floja que estaba. Sin duda volveré cuando sea el siguiente en la ciudad.

Nice city centre pub with friendly staff, good atmosphere with a nice selection at the bar and plenty of seating across 2 floors.

Wow this place is amazing!! The staff are so warm and welcoming and helped us choose our food which was SO delicious. The restaurant is beautiful and the tea and mojitos were gorgeous too! I can’t wait to go back!

Some of the worst chips I've had at least fish was passable

Excellent pizza wether you like the thicker style or the thin crust they're both great, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. Great customer service also

Bolognaise tasted soapy and fruity??? Server refused to replace and gave us backchat when we had asked for garlic bread with no cheese and given mozzarella and Parmesan. Burger was charred and Pasta was undercooked/crunchy and fish was almost black and so oily, was pathetic attempt at justifying the cost. Just go whether spoons

A great two nights stay in Lancaster came to an end, my twin brother and I were waiting for our train back to Liverpool and decided to drop by this Costa Coffee ,been here before, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit to here. A decent enough cafe,interior is superb, solid stone walls,typical Costa Coffee decor and furnishings, glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this cafe both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Lancaster Railway Station. We ordered a flat white coffee each, these were served steaming hot, we chilled out and went over the great holiday we had just enjoyed while sipping our coffee's. My coffee was really good, a big fan of the coffee served in Costa Coffee, its consistant in all their outlets and their flat white coffee is a particular favourite of mine. We both really enjoyed our coffee's in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. This Costa Coffee is easy to locate in Lancaster Railway Station. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 6am till 7.30pm. Sunday, 9am till 5pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area or planning a trip to Lancaster.
