El Railway on Glovers Brow es un pub local junto a la estación de tren de Kirkby y es sin duda uno de los mejores pubs de Kirkby. Se encuentra en un excelente edificio del viejo mundo con excelentes características. Es un pub de varias habitaciones con magníficos accesorios y características que se relacionan con los viajes en tren de una época pasada. Hay magníficas zonas de estar en todo el interior del pub y hay numerosas pantallas de televisión en todo su interior Vamos aquí un par de veces al año y nunca decepciona. El personal es excelente y las bebidas están muy bien de precio. Visitamos aquí en nuestro camino a Liverpool en un día frío helado y vino aquí para tomar una cerveza rápida. Estaba empezando a estar ocupado cuando fuimos aquí, pero no tomó mucho tiempo para ser servido, ya que el personal es magnífico aquí. En nuestra visita yo y mi hermano gemelo tenía un Guinness que estaban perfectamente servidos y tenían un buen precio ya que es un pub local. En general, un magnífico pub local y un pub que vale la pena visitar si estás por esta parte de Kirkby. (Esta es mi 5a revisión del ferrocarril). Horario de apertura. Fabulous food and service, good wine selection….. lovely family/friendly atmosphere. Very clean and relaxed environment.

Was in here this morning few times can't make it when open but always great food but today I made it and it's been renewed seating area much bigger foods a1 still top breky in Liverpool area cheap big breky tea toast 7£ chips 1£ something xtra well worth a visit if near it I will always go here if can

The girl who delivered it was very good I needed help to open bag x put cup in cup. X she help me. So thank you all . so all my orders wasn’t in. The girl phone me up from coffee so to changed order for me . She was lovely so thank you all for all your help really appreciate it 🤙🏻😘

Food here is absolutely gorgeous, staff are great! The prices are high for the location although you have to understand that the pub is situated in a village with the nearest pub being 2.4 miles away unless your happy with a social club (ST Marks) which does not serve food and is no comparison to this pub. £5.10 for a Guinness, £5-6 for a good larger. Real ale is available also (X2). I usually order Salt & Pepper Chips which are cooked 3 times. They are £5.50 and are probably the best pub snack to have. Meal wise, the Aberdeen Burger is beautifully cooked. It's a bit on the pricey side but a nice meal to have. This is my local and can't fault it at all. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for... Quality! Can't fault the place.

We had an excellent meal here. The food was tasty and interesting, with good flavours, generous portions and very reasonably priced. Really convenient for a pre-theatre meal. Staff were lovely too. It’s BYOB if you want a drink. Would definitely go back.

It's a takeaway away but have to say it's about the best in the area.

Update: It's closed! 😔 So sad. First time I've been here since management changed. It's really nice, the food and service is excellent. Just by a lake with views out onto it with a large patio area. It's perfect for breakfast and lunch with generous portions. Marginally higher prices that the area, but a much nicer experience! Also are now beginning to open for small plates in the evening.

A well positioned hotel for travelling into Liverpool. Excellent parking and good food next door at the adjoining restaurant. Only negative was the room smelled stale and stuffy which I suspect was from the carpets. This needs attention. Helpful reception staff.
