I dropped into The Carters Arms Pub after having had a great time in Liverpool City Centre ,this was my first visit of 2023 and I must say it was really good . The pub itself is really good ,multi roomed ,an island style serving bar ,big screens to enjoy the sport ,pubby decor and furnishings and lots of seating both inside and outside. I ordered a guinness ,poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle , I kicked back ,chilled out and went over the great day out I had just had with family and friends. My guinness was really good ,a creamy ,thick and most importantly iced cold guinness bursting with taste ,just a quality pint of the black stuff. I really enjoyed my guinness in here ,ended up staying for another two before closing time and as on every other visit to here I had a really good time. The Carters Arms Pub is easy to locate along Glovers Brow. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

We visited late in the evening and it was for midweek very busy.We went to the bar and ordered a couple of pints of cold Guinness which were perfectly served and really well priced. This is a great pub. The customer service is amazing and the host were very welcoming. There is ample parking available on site catered for everyone. There are toilet facilities available too. It is a pub for locals but we were in the area and felt welcome. Football fans would like this because it catered for their needs. Thank you and have a great day 👍

After a great day out in Liverpool City Centre my brother and I jumped the train back home to Kirkby were we rounded of our day out in The Carters Arms Pub. This is one of the oldest established pubs in Kirkby, multi roomed ,pubby decor and furnishings ,tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options both inside and outside the pub. We got in here around about 9.30pm ,pub was busy with a great atmosphere,we enjoyed pints of carling lager served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling ,it was just great being in such a warm and inviting pub enjoying freezing cold beers. We stayed here till kicking out time and as on every other visit to The Carters Arms Pub we had a great time,it's a pub easy to locate along Glovers Brow ,a three minute walk from Kirkby Railway Station and it's open from midday every day. It's alright to watch the football on Sky sports and BT. They didn't sell my poison of choice (desperado) so had to settle of a bottle of Corona with a slice of lime. Good 3 points for the red men, it was never a penalty

The 12th of April saw some of the coronavirus lockdown restrictions lifted for the hard hit hospitality sector with pubs being allowed to reopen with outside service only, my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into this pub as we were waiting to catch the train to Liverpool City Centre. A really nice pub, traditional interior, multi roomed, tv's to enjoy the sport and lovely decor and furnishings plus plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside in their beer garden, this is were we chose to sit as it was outside service only. We ordered a Carling beer each ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just kicked back and took in the great pub we were in, a pub I haven't been to for at least 10 months . My beer was really good, a crisp, light and hoppy unpretentious lager style beer bursting with taste, very easy to drink, on a hot afternoon a totally refreshing brew. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time . The Caters Arns Pub is easy to locate along Glivers Brow. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, Midday till 11.30pm. A great pub,if your in the area most definitely well worth checking out.

Visited The Carters Arms Pub before Boris closed down the country because of the horrid coronavirus visited upon us ,my twin brother Stephen and I dropped into here on a Friday afternoon, busy and bustling with a great vibe we ordered a lager each ,these were served in excellent condition, we just chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My beer was really good, a crisp, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste, very easy to drink,a beer style I love. This pub has a lovely interior, nice decor and furnishings, tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside in their beer garden, the beer garden will be a big draw when the coronavirus lockdown restrictions are lifted on July 4th ( tomorrow ) and pubs with beer gardens will be the first to open ,cant wait . We really enjoyed our beers in here and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Carters Arms Pub is easy to locate along Glovers Brow, its less than a five minutes walk from Kirkby Railway Station. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 1pm till 12.30am. With the imminent closing of Wetherspoons The Gold Balance Pub in Kirkby I can see this pub becoming my new local as it's a nice pub with really nice staff. My twin brother Stephen and I had missed our train into town so dropped into here for a quick beer, served very quickly we got a pint of bitter each, these were served in tip top condition ,we just chilled out and took in the lovely pub we were in. I like the look of this pub, 2 big rooms tastefully decorated with tv's and a big screen to enjoy the sport and a really good beer garden out front of the pub,as it was a roasting hot day on our visit all the tables were occupied. We really enjoyed our pints of bitter in here ,it makes a change from lager and is a beer style I really enjoy. We moved on after our delicious bitter's and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Carter's Arms Pub is really easy to locate on Glovers Brow,a two minute walk from Kirkby Train Station. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 1pm till 12 30am. A superb pub and well worth checking out.

The Carter's Arms Pub is a pub that has been around for as long as I can remember ,I've lived in Kirkby most all of my life and along with The Railway Pub practically next door it's a pub I have been drinking in for years. The pub is superb,it's two roomed with really nice decor and furnishings including an island style serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around this wonderful pub. We were here on a Tuesday night and the pub was busy but not packed,my twin brother Stephen and I got a pint of guinness each and these were served in tip top condition,we chilled out and enjoyed the football being shown on the big screen . The guinness was outstandingly good ,rich and creamy and very drinkable indeed. We ended up staying here for two guinness each before moving on to The Railway Pub but as on every other visit to The Caters Arms Pub we had a great time. The Carter's Arms Pub is easy to locate, from Kirkby Train Station just walk down Glovers Brow and you will find this pub. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,1pm till 12.30am. Awful atmosphere, and worse drinks. Limes are kept in soda water and were likely stale, far flakier than a freshly-cut lime. I heavily doubt that the Beer and Cider lines are cleaned regularly, since after 1 quarter of a flat, off-tasting pint I was ill and laid out the entire following day. Skip this and head for the Railway down the road.

A day off work and my twin brother and I were meeting up with friends in The Premier Pub in Kirkby Town Centre, this was our first visit of 2024 ,we went on the 22rd of January and I must say we had a great time. It's a proper little locals pub ,interior is nice ,an island style serving bar, pubby decor and furnishings, pool table and big screens to enjoy the sport plus plenty of seating options, it's a good pub to unwind in. We stayed on pints of Carling lager and pints of guinness, it was good having a catch up with friends over a good few pints ,loved my visit here ,its got to be the friendliest pub in Kirkby. We stayed here for a good few hours before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Premier Pub is easy to locate on Market Square in Kirkby Town Centre. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
