The best restaurants in Cheshire West and Chester North West

We yet again had a wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent. The table settings were very attractive. The service was second to none. This is our fourth visit to the Dining Room this year every meal has been delicious. It well worth a visit the students are very professional.

£8.50 for a sandwich that you can’t make amendments to. Tried to order a newyork deli sub without the peppers as that was what they’d ran out of but was refused and told rudely, ‘choose what is on the boards behind, that’s all we’ve got left’ Can’t add anything to a sandwich. Wasn’t putting more chips on despite having 1.5 hours left open. Weirdly ran and v overpriced.

We have eaten at Lorenzo’s a few times and the food has always been amazing and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great. I booked to come for a meal on New Year’s Day (my wife’s birthday) through the website (which was incredibly easy to do). We arrived slightly early to find out we had the whole restaurant to ourselves - there were no other bookings. Lorenzo went that extra mile and it made it an extra special experience for us when he could have quite easily cancelled the booking and had the day off. The food was sublime and the Gavi was great. Lorenzo’s hosting skills were second to none and as well as cooking our beautiful food he came and talked to us- it was magical. If you’re in Frodsham and looking for a place to eat- you couldn’t beat Lorenzo’s.

In town to do a few jobs and decided to treat myself to a quiet breakfast. Found this little gem of a cafe and it was an absolute win from start to finish. Super friendly staff, lovely surroundings and a great sounding menu. A great tasting menu as well If my traditional breakfast was anything to go by. Top quality produce and all cooked really well. This is definitely on my list to return to now…well worth a visit

I ordered afternoon tea to be delivered to an air bnb we were staying at for my hen do, and the food was absolutely gorgeous. It came on beautifully wrapped and presented cake stands and individual dietary requirements were catered for perfectly, giving those people their own box of goodies. Everyone loved the food and it was soooo reasonably priced. Very impressed and would 100% recommend! Thank you 🥰

First time visiting here. Very reasonable prices, food, drinks & service all top notch! Not as busy as the high street places on a Saturday which was welcomed. Took a cake home with us to enjoy later. Very happy with this lunch spot. We will return.

How has The Vines not got a Michelin star?The food is beyond delightful and the table service is so good. We had the Taster menu and it is wonderful and delicious. The chefs clearly love what they produce and the restaurant staff are utmost professionals but friendly and engaging with their diners. I would definitely if you like fine dining book a table here.

Great place and it's a lot bigger than you think from the outside. Good choice of drinks and not at ridiculously high prices, great friendly atmosphere too. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Sabrosa comida vegetariana servida, porciones de buen tamaño, pero se sentía falta de atención al detalle. Aunque la comida fue agradable, hubiera sido bueno tener remolacha y un plato principal de hornear de coliflor con más textura y color, por ejemplo, nueces en el plato principal y servido con pan crujiente, y el plato principal servido con muchas verduras en lugar de una pequeña porción de ensalada de col pálida. Mi desierto de lío Eton también tenía muy poca mezcla de ciruela, que también me pareció decepcionante. Como grupo sentimos que había muy poco personal sirviendo y, por lo tanto, no parecía tener tiempo para preguntar cómo estábamos disfrutando nuestra comida, etc. y tuvimos que esperar un tiempo considerable para tomar té / café, momento en el que un buen número de comensales había dejado.

Best place in Chester for real Italian delicacies. We went in search of the San Pellegrino Chinotto (it's so delicious, yet so hard to find in the UK!) and Marco was very helpful and had some in stock :) thank you and happy New year!

Great little bar in town. I would love to be a regular but I live out of town and the opening hours are after I have left Northwich. I use to work there and they have a great team and selection of drinks it’s dog friendly bar so ticks all the boxes for me. Ellis & Alison are really hands on owners that support the business well. For a young lad joe manages the bar and team extremely well. Will definitely drop in for a drink and catch up soon the sister pub the bullring nw is also a fabulous addition the bar.

Always a nice welcome and atmosphere plus nice selection of good food, drinks and lovely home baked cakes all at decent prices.

We can’t recommend this unpretentious cafe enough. Restaurant quality food beautifully prepared and presented in generous proportions . The friendly Little Farmhouse Cafe is a spotless & cosy gem of a venue in the centre of Farndon. The quality of the food ,friendliness of the staff and the immaculately clean venue clearly reflect cthe ethos of the owners. We have visited several times- each as satisfying as the last. Booking imight be worthwhile to guarantee that you won’t be disappointed- it’s difficult to predict how busy it will be.

Our most favourite coffee shop in Chester. Excellent vides, happy staff, right music choices, great coffee, awesome food, perfect efficient service. If six stars was possible.
