Great pub in a lovely location next to the canal. Friendly staff, friendly locals, good food, good service, good parking.

Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. So fresh and delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough

We visited during the first weekend in January for a family birthday. One family member is celiac and the range of gluten free options is outstanding; there was even gluten free garlic bread. Portions sizes were excellent as was the quality. The mixed grills were particularly good, as was the peppercorn sauce. Really friendly service and the allergen situation was handled very professionally. A proper country pub with a lovely atmosphere and fire. Highly recommended and we will be sure to return.

This is a lovely garden centre great choice of plants, but in the shop items are very expensive, on the up side staff are always helpful.

Charles is amazing, such a gent. Gave great advice to us as we had no clue where to start with our planters. Also, helped take our purchases to the car. I can’t give enough praise for this place.
