Just propped in for a bit of breakfast after finishing pat testing a company nearby just had the bacon sausage and egg oven bottom Great quality large bun perfect bacon and two sausage with an egg all for £4 best value in the area I will be back

What a welcoming, well run little gem. Oozing with historical beauty but with a updated eclectic decor combining modern and antique furnishings, it is cosy, intimate and warm. Lovely menu, with leanings towards local produce and favourites. The staff are such an asset - young, knowledgeable and attentive, happy to accommodate any requests. Enjoyed our mains of ribeye and Lancs fish pie, followed by cheeseboard with port and Eton mess with coffee. My Eton mess a little over whisked and coffee a let down, but thoroughly enjoyed whole experience and looking forward to eating again.

A lovely friendly hotel. This is our second stay here this year and we really love how the staff are so friendly and look happy working at the Lawrence. Breakfast was yummy. Dinner exactly what we needed and Kyle again shined. The welcome when we arrived was so lovely thank you all.

An extremely lovely evening. We were a party of 6, services was very good, swift and pleasant. The food was very good too, I chose the Pate to start and the Lobster Ravioli as the main, which were both outstanding. Lights in the restaurant went out a couple of times and the waitress's personality really made it more of a fun event rather than an issue, which is a rare skill! The Chef introduced himself to all the tables which was a nice touch, I can imagine this isn't possible on busy nights. We all agreed that the food and service was very good, with massive Italian charm.

This establishment is so friendly , awsome owners and friendly clientele. I only pop in for a pint wen passing on my bike but as a stranger I always feel proper welcome cause they chat to me me whether I chat first or not. The HARE AND HOUNDS is a place to be I dont know if they do food but if they did I'm 100% sure it would satisfy

THE best Pizza in the area, bar none. We know our Pizza, we have had them all from far and wide. Serrano’s is right up there - the best I’ve had in this country, the delivery drivers are superb. We are quite remote and to say the food has travelled, it is always fresh and delicious. A huge thank you and well done, you are the best.

In the kitchen the talented team, headed by excellent chefs, produce their fresh, delicious menu to order. Nothing is too much trouble and all needs are catered for, all you need to do is ask. We went as a family had fish chips peas sausage curry sauce cheese puffs gravy between us delicious lightly battled fish chips cooked to perfection all served with a smile The best and friendliest chippy around

This restaurant was great for a casual night out, the waiter was quick to show us to our table and take our order for drinks. Once we ordered, our food arrived sizzling hot with a great variety on the set meal for 4. We couldn’t eat everything so ended up taking some food home, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend visiting for dinner!

The Fat Giraffe is our favourite place to eat. Breakfasts are always great, service is always quick and the prices are very reasonable. Today we went for afternoon tea which was amazing and probably the cheapest you’ll find!

First order for New years eve Meal. Food arrived hot, good tasty food, all the family enjoyed thier meals. Special fried rice ...loved it. Will be ordering again.
