The best restaurants in Hulton Bolton North West

Visited today on way home from holiday. Had two cones one strawberry (my hubby) and a Dubai chocolate and pistachio (me). Quality of the ice cream is immense and the portion size great for the price. A small queue but a very efficient staff. Really nice to see this farm diversify to stay relevant, they also house a Brilliant butchers at the front with a great range of quality produce. Well done team milk maids xx

I ordered some food from trufflez last night with a couple of my friends and it was amazing! We got a waffle, a vegan cake and a brownie and they were all absolutely delicious. It was hard to choose what to have off the menu because there was so much choice but you can tell it's made fresh and the brownie in particular was yummy! Sometimes vegan options can be a bit bland as well but the cake was really good. Would definitely recommend 😊

Love this place for lunch with the kids, lovely welcoming staff, carol was rushed off her feet and still went out of her way for us.

What a transformation, we have the luxury of being a walk away. I had rag pudding, hubster had steak pie, wonderful. So good we've been a few times now and always been greeted and made welcome. Even when we took our puppy, he got plenty of attention and a treat or two.

A new larger Costa coffee shop was needed, and they came up trumps. Plenty of parking spaces clean and well lit shop.. Staff polite and professional.

Really lovely food that was topped up and fresh. The service was fast and the server lovely. Would recommend highly if you are looking for a nice carvery restaurant.

We was here on Sunday, 6 of us and we all enjoyed our food lasagne, gammon, cheese pie,fish n chips,and 2 roast beef dinners It is not the cheapest of places but the service is good and it has a nice feel about it If you are thinking of going check that it is open first, as it is closing on Sunday 21st May and will be taken over by new people so not sure when it will open again Would I go again ? Yes I think I will give it a go whe it reopens to see what it is like John

Visited Wacky Warehouse at Red Lion. Wouldn't let me book online so turned up as a walk-in at lunchtime for food and play with my daughter. Was told would have to stand despite lots of reserved empty tables that weren't occupied for the 90mins I was there. But found a seat. Went to order food but told only if I had a table! So had to wait watching the empty tables until we went elsewhere for food at 3pm! Staff were brusque with no apology offered.

For a Burger King this place is handy and offers good service. The in-store kiosks can be a bit hit and miss at times, but if you approach the staff at the counter, you eventually get seen to. It’s Burger King, the food is pretty standard, but it’s made fresh, and you don’t have to overly wait a long time for an order. Plenty of parking and a disabled accessible building. Only issue is often I have ordered in advance on the app, to collect at the drive thru, and found when I have arrived a giant cone in the drive thru because it’s closed, this is not ideal, and it has happened on more than one occasion. The restaurant offers disabled parking, is accessible with automatic doors, and a disabled toilet.
