Came and tried the curry deal was very nice. Keema and Tikka were both lovely. Defiantly should upgrade to have the extra onion bhajis and samosa. Brilliant food with lovely staff

Absolutely made our day! We brought the kids to Wacky Warehouse after the food festival was cancelled - only to find that it was full with a 90 minute wait as all other parents had clearly had the same idea! We went to the bar for a drink and spoke to John, who absolutely bent over backwards to cheer the kids up after hearing about our failure of a day! Less than 30 minutes later, he'd pull some strings with the girl at the Wacky Warehouse counter (shout out to her too, but I didn't get her name!) and the kids were having the time of their lives playing in the ball pools! Thank you so, so much! You've made two kids happy as can be! :)

Came with family for breakfast. We all had a small breakfast which was plenty. We had the choice of egg We all had the scrambled which was the best egg I have had. We all had a hot drink and juice. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The rest was clean and tidy.

This pub is essentially our “local”, and on the handful of occasions we’ve visited, Ive left pretty dreadful reviews as the food and service has been really bad. I genuinely thought I’d never go back… but boy am I glad we did. We visited today for a working lunch. Having received emails about a new menu, we thought we’d give it one last chance. My expectations weren’t high, but everything was great this time. The staff were absolutely lovely, the food was fantastic and even the WiFi was fast and worked great. Whereas on previous visits the food has been below expectations even for pub grub, I’d put our meals today (a sizzling grill and a vegan mill) against almost anything else in the area for quality and value. It was really nice to get service with a smile, too - and it’s even nicer to say that we will definitely be back!

The pub was quite busy only manager on the bar and two waiting on, theses guys worked there socks off very polite give us a great service even though there was a staff shortage could not fault the food or speed of service especially our waiter Lewis could not ask for any more thank you for a awesome meal and service Craig jackie and lil 👍highly recommend

Having previously given a great review, was disappointed!! Have been three times recently where the food, particularly the chips have been lukewarm . Will still go fir great breakfast, but has put me and mate off a bit.

Avoid like the plague. I ordered 8 ounce rump steak medium. It came it was still mooing blood red swimming on plate. Extra vitamins on my plate with the fly but also tasted like washing up liquid. Kids meal mash potato was so dry we could cut it up with a knife. Looked like skin was scraped of and stuck on plate. Wouldn’t even give it one star intact I would give it a minus 2. Also gone very dirty place dirty walls. Dirty glass but the Diet Coke tasted fine.

The place is overrun with children and like a creche because of them running around which I could have put up with had it not taken 50 mins to get served so it was loud with children running wild. One guy behind the bar was serving drinks, and taking orders with a long queue so they need more staff. Food good and reasonably priced but decor tatty and no heaters on so it was quite cold. We wont be going back..

Friendly, efficient staff and tasty hot food. Had a great breakfast, Neil and the staff are so friendly and obliging, nothing is too much trouble. Sadly, not 5stars due ONLY to the decor, which is sadly lacking. The whole building is falling apart and desperately in need of a refurbishment. Shame on you Hungry Horse for letting this little gem decay week by week.

Food was cold . I had scampi which was tasteless and the peas were cold , chips only just warm. No one came to ask how our meal was . I would have complained , but we’d waited about 30 minutes for our food and we were in a rush , just wanted to get out of the place. Won’t be returning - shocking !

We visit this lovely place on a Saturday morning. The full english breakfast is the best we've found by far. Nice friendly staff too.

We attend wacky on a regular basis the children absolutely love it. The staff are always super friendly and helpful and have a smile on there faces. We usually have lunch why we are there which is always nice. Prices are very reasonable as we get wacky pass.

Girls catch up whilst the little ones where are school 3 of us took advantage of the £5 meal deal, us two stuck with the Mix it up 8oz cooked perfect served on a skillet that was sizzling when came out. Lady with brown leopard top and glasses was lovely and helped pick the perfect gin. We will be back.

Came on Monday to take advantage of the £5 deal, 6 of us dined for £30. As it was a birthday treat we decided to add two candy manias to our treat £40 for all food. Will be back.

I went to visit the pub today with my dog .. the staff are very accomadating to dogs obviously she wasbonly allowed in the pool area .. but lydia gave me water for my dog .. i ordered food and ordered the dog some sauages which she loved .. its a very friendly relaxing place to go and will definately be going again soon .. thanks team also my food was lovely chicken and backn wrap cooked by ash. The food and staff (Clare and Neil) are amazing! Nothing is too much trouble. The service is friendly, fast and efficient. The food is good quality (British sourced). Also, refillable tea/coffee which is a bonus. The brewery is missing a trick not refurbishing this amazing hostelry as everything but the decor is first class. Naughty Elf Party, 8th December. Attended this ticket only event with my friend & our two kids. They absolutely loved it, they had party games, food, drink, a visit from a naughty elf & then a little gift on leaving. My little man loved it. Took my husband's 4 year old great-granddaughter this afternoon for a play in the Wacky and an early tea. Arrived at the Wacky at 2pm. It was quiet, which is to be expected during school hours, but she found a little friend to play with. The lady working there was lovely, very friendly. Plus drinks are very really reasonable, £1.29 for Fruit Shoot was a welcome surprise. We then went into the pub at 3.30pm to eat. We ordered chicken burgers as all burgers are currently bogof on Fridays. Huge portions! Plus the meal for the little one was a great size, even though we'd selected the meal deal for younger children. The lady serving us was really good, incredibly efficient. We spent less than £25 for 2 adult meals, a latte, a large soft drink and a child's meal deal which included a Fruit Shoot and ice cream. Plus there were free crayons and colouring sheets. The food came quickly too, which is always a bonus with a 4 year old who is hungry after playing!

Big up Gaz the chef!! He does amazing scrambled egg. Sometimes the other chefs can do it in the microwave and don’t give as much. Consistently though, all the staff here are so helpful and lovely! All the way from Niel the Manager, Lydia, to Leoni. Absolutely top crew! Love it here ❤️

To the lovely friendly people who run the pub (Neil and staff) well done! They always make us feel very welcome. For the lovely ladies behind the bar nothing is too much trouble. The food was lovely, definitely going back. Only downside, the brewery need to upgrade the building and interior and then it would be perfect!

Dine most Friday evenings with my partner this Friday was no different. Staff always lovely. Lidia young manager is always lovely. Didn’t like hearing a younger member of team telling tables that she had just been shouted at when I was stood at the bar 5 minutes prior when the same member of staff was shouting over me multiple times when trying to order. Lovely team and our Friday night treat Korean burgers all round.
