Burger King in Bolton

For a Burger King this place is handy and offers good service. The in-store kiosks can be a bit hit and miss at times, but if you approach the staff at the counter, you eventually get seen to. It’s Burger King, the food is pretty standard, but it’s made fresh, and you don’t have to overly wait a long time for an order. Plenty of parking and a disabled accessible building. Only issue is often I have ordered in advance on the app, to collect at the drive thru, and found when I have arrived a giant cone in the drive thru because it’s closed, this is not ideal, and it has happened on more than one occasion. The restaurant offers disabled parking, is accessible with automatic doors, and a disabled toilet.

Worst services ever I have seen. Limited staff zero service. No answer of any query or question that I have asked. Feeling shame on this branch. Really disheart.

Tuesday lunch time. Sit behind only other car in the drive thru for 5 mins waiting for someone to take his order. Pull up straight behind and asked to wait one moment to give my order despite it being an online order. Five mins later still nothing. Then asked for my order after total 12 mins. Drive round to next window and no other car in drive through. Sit for another 5 mins waiting for fries to be made. Total time 17 mins and still got a cold burger, soggy fries and no sauce that I’d paid extra for in app. No wonder it’s always empty.

I've eaten here and few times now. Each time the food has been really good. For a fast food place, the burgers aren't thrown together, they always look good. The salad is nice and fresh. The deals on the app are great value as well.

20 min wait for an ice cream and a diet coke I think everyone who works there must have special needs.

the team that works there are very unfriendly, irritable and behave very badly with customers, and the service leaves much to be desired. it is a team of unprofessionals who do not have good manners and do not know how to behave with customers

Dry stale bun that was falling apart, hardly any lettuce or filling, cold burger, poor customer service ran by kids. Expensive. Have to pay for sauces (and was made to do this on a machine because staff couldn’t be bothered doing it on the til) on top of an already overpriced awful meal. Never again! Lovely place to eat..lovely cooked burgers staff are always helpful and go that extra mile to make sure you get what you need and that little more. The young lady who looked like the manager was keeping everything running smooth and clean..thankyou

1 part of the meal had to be sent back to be corrected due to being made incorrectly. As it was a takeaway order if we hadn't checked before we left this would have been awful - cheese on burger for someone with an intolerance.

Painfully slow no matter how you order in store, drive thru or pre order always a long wait of upto 25 minutes.

To be honest, I'm not sure many people will read a review about a Burger King, but I'll add my thoughts nevertheless. Probably the same I've though of BK for the last 10yrs really - overpriced and slow, but tastier food than their big M rival. This being said I noticed last night that they are doing a similar £5 deal which was basically equivalent to a BBQ Double Cheeseburger, fries, drink and side (I had Onion rings). It was still slow to be served but it was just about right what I wanted - my first option was a deluxe chicken burger and without the onion rings would have set me back a further £5. So at least there is choice now and you don't need a bank loan. And the reward app I downloaded also seems quite generous compared to the other burger place. Not amazing, but not awful either

Thursday....at 7am.. Main door locked. I have asked why. They said the 24 hours open "restaurant" still closed till 9am. Wtf?! All lights on,even the drive thru pole... Dont call 24 hours open if actual not.... 🤬

Always have to park and wait at the drive through. Brought my order out recently and had forgotten part of the order, the lady went back inside and then after 10 minutes I had to go and knock on the window, to which she seemed surprised I wanted the rest of my order before it all went cold.

Been here twice and the service and speed of this place is beyond awful Ordered the most simple things and it was waiting for 10 minutes along with 4 other cars

Well yesterday I wasn't very happy but technically probably wasn't the staff's fault they were waiting for a delivery of drink but they didn't have any notices before we ordered the food they told us that now we've got to order on those machines because they don't do it through the till no more I don't know how true that is but I went through and ordered it through those machines and when I got to the drink set up there was no fizzy drinks available I asked the assistant and she said to me that there is no drinks available we are waiting for a delivery and I was thinking to myself well why didn't you put a notice and say that there is no drinks available before ordering not very helpful maybe a notice board would have been better to have up to say we haven't got any drinks we have only got this that this stuff and then people would know what they have and what they haven't got.

Just too slow.. it's meant to be fast food and it's slow food.

Can't fault them. They always get the order right which is rare these days. Keep it up.

Burger king Breakfasts. So called for a breakfast had two meals which weren't cheap £14.85 in total but they were nice yet little difference in styles 1 was a breakfast king meal with hashbrowns and a drink and one ultimate breakfast meal still feel cheated mind. If you get hashbrowns with the meal don't get two as there's enough just in one and the main difference was one had a flat sausage the other a burger patty. Sauce came separate not on the sandwiches so not sure i paid through nose for that too. The inside of the drivethrough was clean as were the toilets and service was ok however id go with a list of what you want in mind as I asked them to recommend which I think was my downfall. All in all I'd have another breakfast from burger king but I'd try other restaurants too to see the differences. I also think they should advertise the breakfasts more and add it as a section to the app to allow people to find the restaurants and a list of offerings as im sure more would want it if they new where to get it from

£10+ for a burger and fries!! For tge burger, it had obviously sat around for a long time, the cheese was hard and dried out, the bun was not that fresh either, and a lot of mayo. Presentation was sloppy too, chips were warm and had a good crunch. Would not rush back to here..

An absolutely stunning triple whooper with cheese. Perfect amount of salt on the fries. First visit. It's a bit of a drive for us. Well worth it. Our dog enjoyed the plain double cheese burger. She kept looking for second helpings. Served by a very nice chap. In the words of Arnold 'I'll be back'.

Service very slow, had to wait quite a long time for order and restaurant wasn’t busy. You can only order by electronic kiosks. Expensive for a fast food place

Ordered a beef melt burger meal, on thr picture nice burger with cheese, received the burger dry with no cheese and I had to ask two people for my drink, I was the only customer at the time. God help it if there busy.

I always order from this BK and today they messed up my order. Burger was missing and then I rang up and they did not provide any compensation. Never ordering from here again.

Been to this new Burger King s few times now fast with good service & great food. It does get busy around lunch time for about an hour & a half from 12pm.

Food was fresh and hot. Limited choice on the fizzy drinks bar. Tables a little cluttered with previous customer trash. Bit of a odd spot for parking arrangement.

Terrible. Got the order wrong 4 times, took 4 members of staff and a manager to get a plain cheeseburger right. Staff attitude got worse with each wrong attempt, despite myself being nice.

Burgers seem smaller, coffee only half full, if you ask for extra cheese slices and pay, you still only get one.

Service was really slow, and when the food eventually arrived, the burger was Luke warm, and the fries were only slightly warmer. Staff seem disinterested.

Went for drive through for a double cheeseburger meal on a Sunday afternoon. Was asked to parked up behind a queue of two cars who seem have been waiting there for a while. We waited 20 minutes still no sign of food. Surprisingly plenty of empty seats in the restaurant just don't see why it could take so long for preparing a meal...too many online orders maybe? I had to get of car to ask the staff inside and food served 5 minutes later. Anyway, we have been late for my daughter's tennis class because of the overtime waiting. Nearly half hour waiting time I could have got food served dinning in a restaurant.

The best Burger King I had never been. This is the 5th time I came with my family and honestly everything is unbelievable good. Food fresh and hot, staff is always happy to help, tables and chairs clean, toilets always perfect and with lot of space even if you need to change your baby. We will be back every time we want a perfect burger king meal.

Really sick of going through the drive through and never getting what I order. Multiple times I have been and 90% of the time… they miss something out. I ask for a double whopper and they give me a single and charge me for a double … just fed up with it and it really lets the place down … sort it out 👎

Love butgerking but sure they shrunk everything we go? However, the service was fantastic and the meal....very tasty..... I had a vanilla shake but I've never tasted that flavour before...but still enjoyed it.

I went today a little apprehensively, I've previously skipped it after bad reviews. My experience was good. It was clean. The food was tasty and made within about 5 minutes. The only negative I have is likely more to do with the brand rather than the restaurant. The double melt burger was the most sorry excuse for a burger and possibly the furthest thing away from an advertised burger I've ever received. It looked nothing like the advertisement at all.

I ordered and paid for a double whopper but I received a single whopper. So I was overcharged. Quite poor, considering how expensive their food is in the first place.

Been twice, both times left waiting in a queue along with other cars in drive through for over 15 mins. Both times orders totally cocked up. Second time ordered 3 meals, 1 with no mayo. Came with mayo and no fries for any meals after waiting about 15 - 20 mins. Wont be going back. 3 disappointed kids again.

I had a fantastic experience at Burger King, with Sam providing exceptional service that truly made my visit memorable!

This was my first time i live in farnworth it is so easy to get there, they have a free car park, good air con, the burguer was delicious and my onion rings so crunchy, refill for soft drinks, you can eat inside or outside, they bring your food to the table, staff so nice and kind.

Food salty as funk no matter what you get. Drive thru none existent, you have to wait sat in your car everytime for your order. Sometimes over 15minutes wait, cars queuing behind, in front etc. The drive thu is a sit and wait ages service.

Worst service and atmosphere clearly no staff wanted to be there waited 20 mins for food no acknowledging of the wait no smile nothing very rude will not return

New place. Food was dry, overcooked and stoned cold and we only ate it in their carpark! Food was cold on delivery the week before to but put it down to slow delivery guy. No it's cold if you go to the restaurant to. Very disappointed. Won't return. Avoid.

Lots of staff, ordered on app, but wouldn't let me click the in my way button when i was close to restaurant, so had to wait, one burger was ready and had been put on side but there was a long wait for other to be made, so first burger was cold when I got home. nice clean restaurant but is quite new.

Drove here 30mins before closing to find the doors locked and the drive through shut off. Apparently they like an early finish.

3rd time coming here, thought I'd give benefit of the doubt and still thoroughly disappointed, first two times we waited more than 50 minutes for our orders to then be told we were forgotten about. This time I was told to park up straight away and was given attitude being told it was busy, there was 1 other car Infront of me and no one In store... What happened to the times where food service was still a thing?

Went through the DT tonight on bridgewater avenue and WOW the hospitality was a 100/10. I didn’t catch the employee name but they had long hair (tied back!) and glasses! Food was great but the service was the best hospitality I’ve had for a long time!! Seeing lots of low rated reviews especially during the first few weeks of opening … remember be kind you can train until your hearts content but it’s always tricky when a new business opens!!

Went today ordered at kiosk stood for a while had to ask if anyone was serving. Waited ages for order when finally arrived the burger was barely warm as we're the chips the coffee got poured away as it was undrinkable. Short staffed didn't see any manager, long queues at drive through who seemed to get priority over custoners inside. Wont be returning. Need more staff.

Second visit to this burger king. First visit was good as there was hardly anyone in. Today was a totally different story. Busier with lunchtime customers but still not overly busy. Not sure who was in charge but they need some management training. Who I assume was the manager was creating burgers as soon as they were ordered but no one was cooking the fries. Hence a pile of burgers in the warming area waiting for fries. The three young staff didn't look like they had a clue what they were doing and just kept looking at the screens as if the fully prepared meal was going to jump out at them. Only good thing was the fries and that was because they were freshly cooked. Would never go at a lunchtime again if at all

Food was nice and hot, Service a little slow and hesitant but understandable as its a new restaurant All toilets being Unisex unnecessary, I know it's supposed to cater to all but actually has the opposite effect.
