Simpsons Fried Chicken in Bolton

Always get service with a smile, and food is always really tasty. Only thing I don't like is that the air conditioning seems to always be on, so in the winter is freezing in there, but that's doesn't stop us from ordering & waiting lol

To say I've paid £12 for a large steak kebab with salad and received what I have is a joke. Little to no salad, no sauce... in all the years I've been ordering this has really disappointed me ... if I could post a picture 📸

Bought chicken wings food was bland. Worst chicken I ever had

stunning food after 2x of not so good food. arrived hotter than past orders and everything but the donner, was fresh! chips were really nice

Normally the food is fault free! Unfortunately today, some of the food was freezing, and some piping hot.

I ordered cheesy garlic bread and this wasn't what was sent!!!! donner meat tasted like it had sat there for ages and arrived freezing!

Didn’t deliver to right adress, had me waking in the freezing cold snowy weather trying to find the adress where they sent my food, food got sent back to the shop and refused to give me a refund until I told them the way step by step to get my food

Unfortunately this is the 3rd time in a row where food took over an hour. first 2 times was kinda understanding as they were large orders, this time it was only a burger and kebab and still took over an hour. Food this time was also not hot at all with hand the burger bun also being stale. very disappointing as previously at least food was hotter.

Food arrived piping hot and large portions. Chicken pieces were juicy and tasty.

Boneless box is always good however I ordered the special dipped bites expecting chunks of chicken but it was just chicken strips cut into bits, they were still nice just not what I expected

Chicken burgers were great albeit the chips were a little underdone and slightly soggy when they arrived

Delivery driver dropped the food the first time, then returned with our food but the wings missing so had to return with the wings 🫠. The food wasnt nice at all, greasy, soggy and Luke warm. Waste of money

Foods always banging and delivered on time, been going to this place for over 10 years and never had any issues. The staff are always polite and very helpful.

Yet again order was wrong paid over £10 for a kebab and chips no donner meat on kebab so got a standard chicken kebab 😡 take it nothing will be done or an offer of a 2nd chance to make up for it .

My Order hasn't even arrived?? They are now closed. I ordered last time it was 2 hours late. I won't order from here again now.

food was very nice. I had the spicy Mexican wrap. really nice. hubby had a burger. he enjoyed that to. chips were naff but they always are from takeaways. good value for money.

Order arrived a little late due to them being busy and they sent a free pizza as an apology which was really nice of them :) Food amazing as always.

Most of it was good salad on kebab wasn’t great a lot of the lettuce had gone brown and chips and onion rings had a lot of burnt bits in the bags /boxes

Kebab came wrapped in paper which is just terrible my kebab was soggy mixed up together and didn't look nice once unwrapped need to put them back in box or container

The driver went to the wrong house at first then once arrived at the right house he didn’t knock or ring the doorbell he just stood at the door!!

Food was cold when delivered,, the quality was very poor,, pizza stuck to the lid, no plastic thing to stop this, kebab meat very grissley unable to eat,, exceptionally very poor quality for the price,, seems like general theme these days,, just send it out who cares,, quality used to matter

Made a large order, initially the order was accepted and then I received a phone- call to say it could not be completed. I asked why this was and they said it was 'too late' (it was 23:00 and the times online state open until 00:30 am!!!). On further probing it was because Simpson's wanted a card payment. I reassured them we had the cash and wanted to the order. In the end we paid card. The food was okay, we only got one free garlic bread we should have received 3 due to the money we spent, will we return.. NO!

When the food was delivered it was cold. There was no choice for a sauce with the loaded box.

I wasn't happy when my kebab arrived it was all soggy it had stuck to the paper mixed up all mushed together leaked all over the rest of food I ordered and it was cold not impressed and I order from here all time this is the second time this has happened now

I always order from simpsons and never had a problem before but usually order from their app. I ordered on here last night and when the order came is was cold. I had to actually put in all in the microwave to heat through. Which i shouldnt have to do and then it didnt taste as nice as it usually does.

had the food to come at a set time but it came 40 minutes early before the wife was home so the food was sat waiting for 40 minutes getting cold & soggy. was offered a order resend but it never came. ruined Saturday night tea. the food is always nice though so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

26th January 2024 There has been a notable decline in the quality of Simpsons having ordered from here for several years. Over recent months the decline is evident with the food quality dropping off, the regular drivers appear to have moved on and the general service is of a much lower quality. Food has taken a sharp increase like most other outlets, but at the same time the quality is far below the standard normally delivered by Simpson's. Tonight was the final straw for us, ordered food at 18:50, accepted at 19:00 with the usual 30 minute expectation. Driver rocked up at 20:30 with stone cold food and NOT in a warm bag. Given the time and the food being inedible, it went straight in the bin. We won't return at this stage, it's starting to feel very much like the food could become a risk if it's sitting around on a car seat for 90 minutes whilst the drivers make multiple drop off's. I must say it's a shame to see an establishment fall down so rapidly from being a reliable, trusted and valued food provider over the years.

used to be really good food here but unfortunately not anymore, last order I had wasnt great but thought I'd give them another chance....big mistake. ordered a 3 piece 3 chicken variety meal, chicken was horrible, dry & stale....definitely not made fresh today, should of come with 3 spicy wings....there was 1...chips were soggy and stale aswel as the burger bun. Done with ordering from here

Simpson Fried Chicken offers some top-notch wings, but the shop's appearance and staff presentation could use a significant upgrade in cleanliness. Concerns about hygiene make dining here a bit uneasy. A thorough cleanup could easily elevate this spot to a solid 4-star establishment.

Hot wings were not hot wings no flavour and not even crispy i asked for hot chilli sauce on my kebab not hot pepper sauce it was ruined went in the bin chips were wet and soggy thanx for wasting my money

been eating here for over 18 years and as always, you can't go wrong with the half pound double cheese burger meal or the infamous 14" MIIGGGHHHTYY MEEEAAAATY. Great for hangovers and munchies or feeding a family of 4

We have been regular customers but had the food tonight and it was awful the chicken wasn't crispy pizzas really greasy and the kebab meat was horrendous won't eat there again

Mostly all of the food was lovely but the sausage seemed burnt and just was not nice tasting at all and the garlic bread was really lovely but was just a tiny bit lute warm, but other than that everything else was delicious.

Delivered quickly but gave me the tomtits. Not as good as it used to be before the COVID loan debacle.

Clearly didn’t have enough hot wings but replaced them with two bigger pieces, always hot and tastes great
