Visited here yesterday and was very impressed by not only the food but the service given. It is a very friendly cafe with friendly staff especially Carol who served me. I had omellette and chips - ok this dosent sound exciting but boy was it tasty! then I had roly poly and cusrard which was also tasty. I will be going back as regular as possible. Fabulous buffet for 30+ people! After visiting Thira several times and always having fantastic food and excellent service, today I had my birthday lunch buffet here and it was super! Highly recommend, thank you!

Decent place for a starting point on a night out

My new favorite meeting place with friends, staff and Clare the owner are always friendly and helpful, food is always spot on, cafe is very clean, reasonably priced too Highly recommend if you’re in Blackburn you need to visit

I ordered fully loaded chips and they have so many chicken pieces with dressing. I highly recommend this place as I eat from here every couple of weeks and they never disappoint us

Having spent two hours coming up the locks to Blackburn we were just looking for a late lunch somewhere dry. Well, what a welcome! Of course the kitchen is open, of course you can tie the boat up here, stay the night if you like. Well why not, because the cocktails and the food are as excellent as the welcome. I don't know if it really is the worlds only sail-through Caribbean restaurant but I'm certain it's the best one on the Leeds & Liverpool!

Friendly, efficient staff serve excellent tea and coffee - a very high standard. It's a unique place: go out of your way to visit it.

Very good food but extremely poor customer service. Prices are also very deep but if customer service is good then these justify but one of the worst staff. No respect for women or children and their staff is readymade for argument. If you want good food then go by keeping in mind arrogant staff and be patience to tolerate their rubbish behaviour.

Food was rami. Well satisfied. Quick service. Comfortable dining area. Just an overall feel good atmosphere. Amazing stuff :)
