The best restaurants in Bonamargy and Rathlin Allerdale North West

A group of ten people including myself were over staying in the island last Saturday night and we stayed in the Manor hotel in which was spotless clean and the staff were excellent and so friendly. We also had food and drinks in McCuaig's bar which also was excellent and the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. I would highly recommend these two premises to frequent when visiting the island. Myself and my friends will definitely be back come the summer.

Really helpful staff when 9 rowdy women descended for lunch! Lovely food, fish and chips delicious. Very attentive waiting staff and a thanks to Ryan for dealing with some craic from the ladies. Would recommend to anyone visiting Ballycastle.

Stopped here for coffee after a bracing walk along the beach. Pretty decent coffee. Cinnamon bun was slightly stale, as though it was a day or so old. Good service and nice atmosphere though.

Coffee shop it is not . It is more like a greasy spoon cafe. Seems to exist mainly for all day brunches and not coffee and cake. Choice of cake in the ‘ coffee shop’ limited unlike in the bakery downstairs. Loos clean but tables were not . Staff friendly enough but lack of menu information letting them down. Some menu boards above serving area seem to be covered by bin bags . Vibes of a seventies cafe . Sad .

We always stayed at the Marine with are 3 small dogs the staff were very helpful they could not have done enough for you and they loved the dogs a few months ago I went to make a booking for my wife myself and the dogs the Reception said you can only have two dogs per room I said we have always stayed there and there was never any bother she that is the way it is now we were very annoyed because we loved it and so did the dogs it is sad we can no longer stay there

Delicious food and freshly cooked, so good I ate here 3 times in a row. Friendly and informative staff and quick service. Particular thank you to Jimmy..

4 times we told the guy the other, before he could get what were looking. The order was 2 americanos and pouring cream, 1 americanos decaf and it came down as 2 regular americanos no cream. We asked for cream to be told they no cream

Lovely pizza, friendly staff and value for money.
