Great grassroots music venue.. Great night watched an awesome band.. original and indie covers band.. POOL ERA.. check them out if you've never seen them.. Brilliant atmosphere in the C&S.. bar staff friendly and efficient. Terrific night!

Dan is a bit special. This is a fantastic place to eat with friends. On your own. Whatever. Just go and eat here. Food was amazing. Service was fantastic. Wine was beautiful and the place looks stunning. Met up with some friends for food and you quickly forget you’re in Lower Darwen.

What an amazing place. Best pizzas for miles around, plus they do lots of other delicious Italian meals too! Great value as well.

This is a Google maps issue. I was intending to be there last week and it was in my calendar but circumstances changed and I i didn't go. So why is Google asking me to review the venue?

Lovely place for so much more than fish and chips, so much choice of tasty dishes. Friendly service too

Best fish and chips in Saddleworth. I travel there from Mossley as it's worth it. Crisp and tasty fish. Chips good enough. And cheese and onion pie is 5 stars too.

Not worth the price and poor presentation would not return smashed advocado was just under £9 each should be something with it and sat for a while before being serve tables too close together

Walked around looking to get breakfast this cafe was closed for maintenance 22/02/25. Other places were closed too

Fabulous food - served from 12 -2 and you have to be in by 12 as it's that popular. Lovely staff and a good selection of drinks too

Excellent range of home brewed ales and the odd guest. Unusual layout with good elevated outside area. Friendly staff.
