10/10 pizza's every time I order from them. The food is always ready on time & the staff are helpful and friendly. Anyone thinking of getting pizza around the Preston area, this is the place to go.

Ready made bases (Updated as owner asks for more information) .sure, I've been many times maybe 7 or 8 times the bases are always the same with hardly no crust/ no taste. Also garlic bread is always cased in oil

Always friendly service, the food is consistently great! Just make sure to ask for the pizzas to be sliced if you need them to be.

I'm sorry Papa's but I feel I need to say that the last 2 pizzas I've had have been not very good. By that I mean you are definitely skimping on the toppings. The pizza is being filled out with tastless cheese. It's a case of "hungry the toppings". I'm very disappointed....

Our family absolutely love Papas and have been regular customers for a very long time. Over the years, we have never made a single complaint. All dishes are cooked to perfection and are competitively priced (in fact they are considerably cheaper than the Americanised 'pizza' chains in neighboring areas). If you are looking for authenticity, good quality and great service Papas is definitely the place to go. We particularly recommend the pasta dishes. Sorry - we know there's one man having to do all the pasta dishes single handedly, but they are too good to resist. We also love the pizzas, the garlic bread and the tiramisu! 🇮🇹

We are regulars to Papas and order most weekends. The food quality is consistently excellent especially the pasta dishes. My favourite thing is being able to pre order ready for collection in time for the children’s tea time. The staff are always lovely. Thank you for a wonderful year of food, we’ll see you in the new year for our double Pasta della Mama 🥰🍕🍝

Having been a regular customer for over 10 years I am disappointed with the pizzas now being served at papas. Tonight’s was cold despite collecting it at the time they told me and then then there was hardly any cheese on the garlic bread and the meat feast was dreadful with hardly any Cheese or chicken. This is the third time I’ve experienced this with you. You’re one of the most expensive takeaways in Longton using the most basic ingredients which I don’t mind if it good quality but you’re definitely scrimping on ingredients. I’m not the only person that’s mentioned these issues so clearly you’ve let your standards slide.. I won’t be returning

Is it me or have the bases and toppings been reduced? The garlic bread is more a large crisp. The flavours are nice. Please UP the ingredients and get back to the best pizza's around

The food here is always freshly made and the pizzas are hard to beat. If your ordering at the weekend, make sure you place your order early as they get busy!

Pizza is good, sometimes you have to wait a little longer than the collection time but it's worth it.

Average. Pizza base was way to thin. It was like a crisp. But topping was good.

Ordered here for the first time after spending many a time parked outside it when visiting the chemist. Ordered a few pizzas and some Gnocchi. Didn’t know you had to pre-order (due to COVID) but the guy asked what I wanted to see if they could take my order, thankfully they could. Waited the 20mins they said I would and he came out and passed us to pizza in the car, can’t fault the service and the food itself was really nice, the noises the kids were making meant we didn’t have to ask if they enjoyed it. Defo will be going back

I love this game the fact they turned the game into a real place is amazing. However it is kind of uncomfortable since the waiters all look like the characters in the game.

Slightly disappointed.. only had a short drive home (around 5 mins) to open the lasagne and find out it was surprisingly cold .. Ihad to put in the microwave for a good 3 min to reheat

This is the best Italian take away I have had.Everything is fresh which means you would wait awhile, but definitely worth it. Good choice of pizzas ,and pasta dishes as well as tasty special mains and starters.

Probably one of the best around, food is excellent. Must telephone your order through as it gets busy !! But worth waiting for :)

Don't know what has happened here recently but somehow the pizzas taste different and not as good as they use too!! Perhaps they have changed the dough or something but taste a bit bland

A unique Italian take away. Not only pizza but lots of typical Italian pasta, risottos and chicken dishes. Very reasonably priced and cooked fresh to order. Collection only, easier to phone order ahead of time.

Really nice food, the wait can be a bit long but you know it fresh.

I go to Longton about once a month from London, for about 3 days before I get there I start to dream about the chicken livers and rice.6 years, once a month, I have yet to be disappointed. It's a fantastic takeaway, well run and always, always tasty. pizza's and carbonara are from what I understand also excellent. Best on Preston, and better than most in London.

Genuine Italian food with friendly staff

Papas make the best Pizza I've had in Preston, and in previous years it would have been a full 5 stars. But over the past few months the times being given by staff are getting pretty loose during peak times. I can understand a surge in orders around tea time on a Saturday given the quality of the food - However if my food isn't going to be ready for 20 minutes I'd much prefer to be told this than be given a very optimistic 10 minutes followed by another 10 minute wait. Great food, but presently order well before you actually want to eat!

After buying pizza and pasta here for at least the last 10yrs, this is THE BEST Italian takeaway for miles around. Great service and consistently great food.

if we get Pizza this is where we come and have done for years. The pizzas are far better than i have had anywhere else! They dont just do pizza's and although i haven't tried anything else you see a lot of other people doing so. Try the spicy beef with extra pepperoni!!!

Never had a bad meal from Papas. Must be doing it right as it is soon busy at weekends in the evenings.

I used to work here about 16 years ago, and the food quality has not changed. It's restaurant quality and half the price. I'm yet to find better pizzas, and the pastas are amazing. CHeck the website for their specials. You can even order off menu and make up your own creation... Our old favourites can still be asked for, like the spaghetti rose (prawns with a tomato and cream sauce) or the tortellini bolognese. Don't forget the garlic bread.
