The best restaurants in North West

Stopped off for breakfast as we were staying in Shap. Warm and friendly greeting to us and our dogs. Superb quality breakfast cooked fresh to order! Highly recommended

Was in the area and after doing my research had an amazing Veggie Breakfast at Little World. Wonderful service from wonderful staff and wonderful food. They also now cater for meat eaters. Great vibe and I can highly recommend. Please note that the cafe has recently changed management and if you want to contact them they are on Facebook and the new number is 07748 001954.

Disappointing and overpriced. Asked for a specific hamper to be put together and, despite many messages, wasn’t told what it would contain. Until it arrived I had no idea what was in it. Was let down on picking up from Tre Ciccio so it was delivered by a member of staff to my house. and I had to pay for it there and then, as he was just the messenger. I expressed my disappointment and dissatisfactionti ‘The Stinky Chef’ with no real attention to customer service or satisfaction. Luckily we had items we had already purchased that we could use to complete the hamper and make it gift worthy. Do not recommend

This is a great little breakfast place. Super friendly and good quality food. There is a nice selection of breakfast menu items which offer a range but also is selective enough to ensure high quality cuisine. Really friendly front of house staff with a personal touch (lots of greetings to regular customers and remembering information about their last visit etc) which really made you feel valued. It's only a small place (although does have more space upstairs) so worth booking especially if going at peak times/weekends. Highly recommend

Honestly this is the best breakfast by far in Chorley !! The staff could not be anymore friendly and accommodating, specifically to my needs . Food is always cooked to perfection and the place is always clean and ready to go . I’ve been going for food since around November 24 and it’s always my first choice to go since then . Would highly recommend and have recommended to mates etc ! Top job team

We got the omelette with cheese and mushrooms and it was amazing and the mushrooms were plenty and clearly fresh and perfected to a t. We got the Eggs Benedict without bacon (and they deducted £1 from the price which I appreciate) but it wasn’t really my cup of tea I felt like the hollandaise sauce was thick and wasn’t delicious and the English muffin was a little soggy. Coffee is below mediocre to be honest and the hot chocolate is quite sweet. Service was amazing though they always check up on you. 15-20 minute wait for food to come out.

Interesting atmosphere, very small meals. Using the word Thai in the description is very misleading, there is very little in the meals that represents Thai other than the odd word on the menu. Visited with my wife (Thai national) and daughter we ordered 3 different starters, mains and desserts, other than the desserts and all but one of main the meals were far to salty which obviously was the dominant taste.

Chicos does the best Karak Chai in Tameside, from deep fried Oreos, smash burgers, baked donuts homemade ice cream Chicos has it all to offer. Lads are always super friendly and welcoming and the prices are very affordable. If you are crazy enough to try the ice cream on a burger it's actually a combination that really works. Highly recommend a visit to Chicos if only for a Karak Chai.

Quick stop for a coffee, a croissant, and a bacon bun. All good, very good, efficient service. The room was a bit on the cold side, but it didn’t matter so much for a quick stop.

This is a place we've used in other parts of Manchester, but the first visit here. It really is a smashing place right by the canal and in the heart of the action. As with the others, it has a brilliant range of beers brewed by their own brewery, and they serve very well. The area around it has developed beyond recognition and it was good in the winter so I imagine it would be even better in the summer.

A great place to eat! Staying with family nearby with babies and vegans- they cater for everyone! Nothing is too much for them. The food, service and the staff are fantastic My stepfather said their sausage and chili jam sandwich ‘goes down in history as the best!’ They even do scones cream and jam to go!

We go regularly to downhams icecream it's delicious however the guy who serves isn't as generous as the lady. He serves really small portions which is disappointing.
