The best restaurants in North West

Went for a lunch date with my meat living husband. Super great atmosphere, it was buzzing, even though it was early. The food was fantastic, the meat courses just keep coming, they're carved at your table so you can pick your cut and amount. The salad bar has amazing variety and the creamy mushrooms are superb. The fact all the warm sides, even those you order separately are included in the price is great. The price is very reasonable for the experience on the whole. Would definitely come again! I didn’t eat here but grabbed a couple of drinks while I finished up some work. Great service, extremely hospitable. Much appreciated, thank you! Will come back because the food looked so good too!

We wanted to order coffee ( we were there 10 minutes)but the waitress ( pleasant) was taking someone else's order and said she would come back shortly. 15 minutes later we couldn't wait any longer as we had a train to get. The menu is reasonably priced and the food looked great but Alas......

From start to finish, I've never laughed so much. The actors were spot on. We were part of a large group on a stag-hen do. My only criticism that there isn't enough activities rooms as we were sat for too long.

Great local pub selling Great British food would recommend

We loved our evening at Pedro's. The food was delicious, with standouts being the honey and BBQ chicken tacos, the Mexican Mac and cheese, the banana burritos and the churros sundae (a special). The sangria was delightful and the homemade tequila flavourings were definitely worth savouring. The staff were very friendly, and helped us to choose between the many delicious dishes available. We can't recommend this restaurant highly enough and are looking forward to coming back soon!

What an amazing find. Top quality good food with no fuss. Lovely staff, great service and well positioned on Underbank. It's now become a regular place for us. We love it and really enjoy the food and the atmosphere.

Absolute a must do. It's probably the oldest pub I have lever been into. Feel more like a house than a pub, so authentic. Recommend the "Henry" mint lamb shoulder!

Small and the perfect way to enjoy a nonalcoholic delicious drink with your lunch. Without artificial sweeteners too, if that's something that irks you as much as it does me!

I’ve been on a couple of occasions and left happy with the whole experience. The drinks menu is cool, interesting and varied. The service was excellent. And the interior and ambiance make this hidden cocktail bar really special. I’m sure I’ll visit again in the future.

Ate here this evening, looking at the reviews I can safely say I fully agree with all the 5 star ones. Incredible food, amazing family friendly service and all for good value. You’ll read the reviews of people saying it’s a must visit and it really is. Superb.

Great place, friendly & welcoming staff, tasty, hearty food with generous portions. We can walk to it from ours & that’s another bonus.

Excellent service and wonderful food. Great choice of small plates, served when fresh and ready. Sea bass was great, as were the cocktails!
