Alcotraz Liverpool: Cell Block Three-Six in Liverpool

From start to finish, I've never laughed so much. The actors were spot on. We were part of a large group on a stag-hen do. My only criticism that there isn't enough activities rooms as we were sat for too long.

Was so funny and we all had a great time. We would do it all again

This was unlike anything I’d ever done before and it was so much fun! Highly recommend for those who like a bit of improvisation and theatre fun, and the cocktails that were provided throughout were delicious…a very fun and memorable experience!

Such a fun experience. Some proper laughs, the actors are brilliant at that they do. We all had a great night, very good entertainment and nice cocktails brought at regular intervals.

**⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Locked Up With Cocktails – An Inmate’s Dream** Booked in for a sentence at Alcotraz, and I have to say... prison’s never been this fun. From the moment we stepped through the doors, the atmosphere was electric — orange jumpsuits, stern-faced "guards", and the kind of chaos that makes for a perfect night out. **Smuggling in the booze** was half the fun — you’re encouraged to get creative, and the guards aren’t exactly looking the other way. (Or are they? 🤫) Once inside, the bartenders — ahem, *inmate mixologists* — turned our contraband into some seriously impressive cocktails. No menu, just vibes. And every drink was bang on. The acting? Spot on. The guards stayed in character the whole time — gruff, shouty, hilarious. It felt like stepping into a movie scene, but with better lighting and way more tequila. There were moments of interactive theatre, some light roasting, and just the right amount of rebellion. The venue is decked out like a real cell block, and the dim lighting, metal bars, and background sounds of prison life totally set the mood. Honestly, it’s a great balance between immersive storytelling and just having a good time with your mates. Perfect for birthdays, quirky date nights, or just breaking the monotony of your usual cocktail bar crawl. Would I go back? 100%!!

I was incarcerated in Liverpool Alcatraz for my 51st birthday and my partner and I had a wonderful experience, the actors were brilliant and the cocktails were tasty, I would highly recommend!

Came here for my Hen Party. There were 16 of us and everyone had the best time. We weren't sure what to expect and were a bit nervous beforehand. It exceeded everyone's expectations and we laughed the entire way through the process. The actors were fantastic, joined in with so much of our stupidity and just made it such a great experience. We all left with our faces sore from laughing and memories that will continue to make us laugh for years to come!

This was an amazing experience at Liverpools Alcatraz for my sisters hen weekend. We haven’t all laughed so much, as much as we did when here. Would 100% recommend this.

We had such a brilliant time at Alcotraz and would recommend it to anyone. The characters are fantastic, cheesy American guards. It is expensive as you take your own alcohol and the staff bring you 4 cocktails through your experience (all very nice) you get given back what they don’t use. The last drink was a bit of a rush to get down as our time was up.

Didnt have food. Great sportsmanship from the cast and a very enjoyable experience for all

We did this as part of a hen do and had an absolute ball. This is a theatrical experience and was great fun. My only gripe is that the cocktails were mostly sweet and I am not a fan of sweet drinks. That is a personal preference and did not take away anything from a wonderful experience. Thank you

Banging afternoon of immersive theatre. You can take part as much or as little as you like, the more you put in the more you get out! During your time, there's a couple of fairly random skits of life in prison. You're brought loads of cocktails using the alcohol you provide, more than you can realistically drink 😂 Would definitely recommend it if you enjoy a little bit of theatre or roleplay.

Absolutely amazing! We loved it, the Warden and prison guards were brilliant! Lots of interaction with us, and the cocktails were really lovely, definitely recommend.

We were there as part of a hen party. The show was great and very funny. The interactions of the cast with each group was very good and very entertaining to see how quickly they reacted with improvisation. The drinks were made very well and as one of our group had allergies they were very careful with making sure everyone was catered for safely while still making very good cocktails.

First time going to Alcotraz and I can honestly say I had the best time with my friends. We all loved the experience. The actors were amazing and never dropped their characters once! Cocktails were very nice, we were asked what flavours in particular we liked and cocktails were made based off our preferred tastes. 100% recommend! Belly laughing the whole time!

Honestly wish I could give it more stars!! We had the most amazing time from the minute you step in to the minute you leave all actors remain in character and give the best atmosphere ever and the drink!! Wow amazing 1000/10 I would recommend this to everyone you have to go atleast once! (But you’ll want to go more)

Had such a great laugh. Staff are in character from the moment you enter the building. So funny and entertaining. I'd recommend doing the experience as a group but it would still be entertaining as a couple

Could do with involving the customer more

This is not a bar it's an immersive, interactive theatre performance. We had lots of fun. The actors were brilliant, the drinks were served at good intervals. The whole show was engaging and very funny. Note, do not arrive at the venue any earlier than your booking. There is no waiting/processing area. Our booking stated arrive within 30 mins of the booking, this is not accurate, you won't be able to go in.

We had an amazing experience. I haven't laughed like that in a while. All the actors and staff were brilliant. We would highly recommend Alcotraz. We'll be going back again with family and friends.

It was the most enjoyable and fun experience. Did not expect it to be so be such a great night. The actors were incredible and really made it a night to remember. Cocktails were mostly really nice but the last one we had was a bit spicy and we didn't have time to drink it. Not that I was bothered as the drinks were delivered to the cells before we finished the previous one. Recommended highly

This absolutely made my weekend in Liverpool, I can fault nothing!! The atmosphere was electric, the actors and staff were so warm and welcoming, the Cocktails were 10/10! You can’t come to Liverpool and not try this out! I wish I could have stayed longer! Absolutely brilliant! Will be coming back again 100%

Had the best time. Very light hearted . You can join in the acting or just watch and listen You are not forced to do anything you don’t wanna do or made a fall of. When we realised this we so enjoyed making up things. Take as much spirit as you want as you get the rest back. Definitely worth the money. One of my favourite experiences ever

Amazing experience! It isn’t cheap but I thought it was worth the money as it was so much fun and all the characters were so interactive and funny! Also any alcohol they didn’t use, they gave you back which I thought was a great touch.

I booked this experience for my partners 30th birthday, and we both absolutely loved it. This is something usually out of our comfort zone but we will 100% be coming back. The actors were brilliant, the cocktails were lovely and everyone was so welcoming. The actors were so funny and made effort to involve everyone. A highlight was be being called to the wardens office, where the interaction is uniquely catered to you and your crime!

Bit expensive but well worth it. Change, and a good laugh. Thanks guys xox

We booked Alcatraz as a group of 7 for our Christmas night out and had a wonderful time. The actors/staff were great and it was enjoyed by the whole party. If you’re looking for something a bit different then this is the place!
