The best restaurants in Parkfield and Oxbridge Stockton-on-Tees North East

This is under now ownership, tloved the previous owner so was bit bit worried when she sold up. The new owner has worked very hard on a revamp of the cafe, menu and staff. It is still very friendly and budget friendly too, they do all the cafe food you would expect but they specialise in home made cheese cake. Lots of different flavours, most days will have 2 different ones, if they are not to your taste come back the next day for 2 different flavours. My fave is still the vegetarian breakfast

The sunday lunch was just like homemade, perfectly cooked nice and hot ....absolutely yummy just like my mam used to make!! Be sure to book!!

We have had many orders delivered and posted from the sweetie fairy deliveries which we have always been extremely happy with. Today we visited the sweetie fairy deliveries van at the local community market. Our daughter especially loved it! They have such a fantastic range of sweets, drinks and confectionery available. We had takeaway but the atmosphere in the cafe whilst waiting was lovely, very helpful and welcoming owner, noticed the 'washererupper' was doing a fine job! The soup was delicious and a huge serving, hubbies butty was very tasty too. A great little addition to a walk in the park (forgive the pun!) You've got to visit this little gem.

food was nice, very expensive for what you get though

I have just recently started travelling with work and as a lone female it can be quite daunting. I usually dine in whichever hotel I am staying in however as the food was absolutely disgusting I decided to dine out and came across this wonderful place. I felt completely relaxed, was served a perfect glass of recommended Pinot and really enjoyed the food. I will absolutely be back on my text visit!

It's a nice shop, don't get me wrong. I got the special of the day; it was lamb curry and rice. By the time I got a drink, it came to £7. To be honest, it had 6 pieces of diced lamb. The rice had no flavouring, just bland white rice, kind of reminded me of prison rice. For the same price, I would rather go to Frandos and get chicken strips with rice or go to KCS where I can get like more than 6 pieces of diced lamb!

I had a really good experience here today, all the staff were so friendly and welcoming, the food was out of this world all fresh and home made to a very high standard, I can’t wait for my next visit here! 10/10

Very underwhelmed. Saturday evening and the restaurant was half empty, from the point of us sitting down it took nearly an hour for two starters to come out, I thought they may have been kneading and proofing the dough of our garlic bread from scratch for the time it took! drinks also took 20 minutes to come out, and on the second occasion my partner had to ask again as they had forgot to bring her drink, although one positive- this was handled well with an apology and on the house. Main course again very underwhelming, whilst hot everything was very bland and a distinct lack of seasoning and flavour. (This is on the pit plate by the way - just meat with some sauce drizzled on) I try to avoid pubs and chains for this reason but unfortunately this was no better. The decor is great, but some staff training could potentially go a long way, I’m not sure how they can handle a full restaurant? I’d personally say food wants work too. The search for a half decent restaurant in Teesside goes on!

Very disappointed. Having only stopped ordering as hygiene rating 1. Best Mexican parmo & lovely wedges previously. Tonight half wedges & parmo half size. Cheese garlic bread ordered only garlic bread came. We will be ordering else where from now on😣

Handy spot in the small industrial estate frequented by workers from the jnits nearby. Very popular especially over the lunch hour. Great choice on the menu, to eat in or take out & pretty quick service too. The food is definitely OK but where they fall down on each & every occasion I have been there is in clearing the tables! This doesn't seem to be a priority for them at all. Many many times I have had to clear away the debris from someone's previous lunch before I can be seated to have mine! Otherwise they have everything going for them.
