Average food and very slow service.

Grandchildren like to play in play area whilst in park. Cafe is ideally situated for a coffee and lite bite. Seating inside and out.

The staff are superbly patient, even when ran ragged. Lovely coffee and cake, and if you are partial to a bacon butty 👍

quite a quaint little place. nice place to drop in while visiting the park. dog freindly, prices, service all good. didnt eat so cannot comment, but menu looks good. sells duck food too.

Lovely little cafe and place to meet

Nice choice of hot and cold drinks and food to keep those energy levels up whilst trying to tire out the little ones in the park. Public toilets situated within. Seating inside and out.

Great atmosphere more importantly very reasonably priced

Loved this cafe when it opened as part of the millennium celebration. It was cheap and good quality. It now seems very busy but a lot more expensive also.

No dogs allowed inside was the only negative.

Went to have lunch but disappointed that the cafe was closed. We didn't see any signs with an explanation or opening times.

I really love this cafe, its a proper park cafe, excellent food, mince and dumplings, Sunday lunch and pie and peas in the winter, nice salads and sandwich all year round, also food for the birds and ducks very cheap prices, it is a charity so please make a donation too. Great in summer and winter

This is a very nice spacious park, really well kept with a cafe and a very good children's play area.

Popped in for an ice cream, nice that they had a vegan selection too.

The vibe in the park is calm and peaceful. Its such a lovely spot. Buying the duck food and feeding the birds of one of my fav things to do

A canny little place for snacks & drinks throughout your visit to the park. A little heavily priced, particularly on jubilee Sunday, but that goes with the territory everywhere now.

Ice creams, sandwiches and meals of the day. Last week they were serving quiche and full on mince and dumplings

Had a hot pot of tea and a pastie, had good service and it was a clean and tidy cafe

I am in a small walking group who meet in the Newtown Community Centre in Stockton, 10am every Thursday. We walk to Ropner Park, then call in the cafe for a refreshing drink, sometimes we also have a piece of delicious cake or a scone.

Lovely friendly. nice homemade food. Been a life saver throughout the last 2 years. Thankyou girls for your hard dedicated time. Always come back.

A really wonderful park whether an adult or child. A beautiful laid out park with lake, tennis courts, children's playground etc. and also a lovely cafe with very nice food.

I have visited Ropner Park and the Cafe many times during the pandemic. We are so lucky to have such a lovely, relaxing place on our doorstep, for exercise, and to socialise. We visited the cafe, in all weathers, often weekly, and always enjoyed our food and drink. The staff worked extremely hard, and were pleasant and friendly, despite being inundated with customers. at times.

Great service, great food and the walk in the park is beautiful. The children's play area is excellent too

This is the 1st time I've been here and I was definitely impressed, the park is in full bloom and quite busy however social distancing was still being maintained which was quite nice, the cafe was lovely and clean and I didn't have to wait too long for my lunch to arrive, the park is beautifully maintained and dog owners are being very responsible with their pets which was also good too see, definitely check out the cafe and park if your ever in the area, there is also plenty of outside seating put by the cafe so you wouldn't be disappointed

One of the best looked after parks in the teesside area. Some updating is needed to some areas, food in cafe is standard, but very tasty. The staff are great.

Appreciate the current climes but to masquerade the weakest cup of coffee ever tasted as a cup of Rijo is very naughty.

Ropner park is a great place to spend an afternoon with the kids, it's large so you can have a good walk round, it has a great playground for the kids, a lovely little cafe, which sells duck food and lots of very hungry ducks at the lake to feed!

This cafe has been a godsend during this pandemic as has the park itself. The flower beds have been lovely. Certainly lift your spirits.

The ducks are very friendly, even eat out of your hands if your still enough.

This Park is my favourite park.It's got something for everyone,mega playground for the kids,a beautiful lake with at the moment a Swan and little cynets beautiful.A parkside cafe where the staff are great..A good day out for all the family

Hygiene wise its spotless .The service and food Which is all cooked and prepared on the premises is brilliant recommend it every time

The food is good, but the owner can be very moody and a bit rude sometimes and other times helpful. now lockdown is over there are seats inside and out, if raining they will offer a table brolly. you can also buy bird seeds for the ducks here. Usually open all year round

Good price and great quality food

Lovely little cafe in the centre of this traditional and well established park. Brought my young grandson for playtime on the large playground and a wander round the lake feeding ducks. The cafe sells a good range of drinks and snacks at the moment due to outdoor restrictions. Been previously and there's some great home made options so looking foward to restrictions lifting and another visit soon

Very careful under Covid regulations, catering from snacks to meals, variety of hot and cold drinks, love my black coffee!

After a leisurely walk with friends, it's nice to call at Ropner cafe for a hot drink. The cafe is extremely popular and is a very welcoming sight after a 2 mile walk.

Excellent staff. Nothing too much trouble and reasonably priced food. The kitchen is on view and everything looked clean and hygenic

Have been a regular visitor to the park cafe, and understand that with the current covid situation only take away is available, however have twice asked for a flat white and just received a weak white coffee. The staff have also been quite miserable and not aware of the word thank you .

I don't know what to say about this place. It's not bad, it's not great. It's a nice little stop off around the park. I do feel like a lot more could be done with it with just a little bit of effort. It feels at a loss for itself currently. Nothing on offer or its price is really clearly presented, it gets cramped very easily, and everything I've ever ordered for myself or my family seems like the first time the staff have ever heard those words out of a persons mouth. It would be nice to see some care taken in the place to really make the most of it, given how wonderful the rest of the park is. But like I say, not a bad place.

Went for a morning walk round the park and decided to have breakfast here. First time visit we had bacon and egg sandwiches which were very large and filling. Prompt service and decent coffee. Not a big cafe and in the winter check the opening hours but support local!

The date and walnut cake was to die for and coffee was very good too . Nice walk around the park but toilets not good

Just bought ice cream for the kids. Reasonably priced and good selection. Roughly £1.50 per ixd cream including brands like Cornetto/twister etc. Right next to the kids play park which is ideal. They also sell scones, sandwiches etc which looked lovely but I didn't buy any. Nice number of seats outside too for a nice day.
