Love this pub and rapidly becoming our local favourite, fantastic vibe, cosy, xmas decs up, good music on in the backgroud and most importantly a great selection of beers. We were guided to a nice session ale called "Pint" by Ryan. Great choice for a Sunday afternoon with the missus.

Good friendly pub. Enjoyed the steamer ale, which is reasonable priced. Comfy chairs to chill out to.

I went to Head of Steam the other day for the first time. I think it's a decent pub, fairly big inside. The price of the drinks is pretty high, I think my pint was £6.50 by memory.

We went on a quiz night, so much fun! Good bar with lots of choice of drinks Bring your own pizza to the quiz aswell which is great!!

After arriving in Norton too early for the restaurant we decided to have a little explore. The first pub we found made us feel like we weren’t welcome and the atmosphere was stale. I told my friends to try the Head of Steam as I’d been to one in Newcastle. This pub is amazing straight away we felt at home, they allow dogs and have a wonderful atmosphere! We just learned about Thursday Quiz nights and have already planned for a future night out. Can your local be a pub a town away from home? 100% recommend :) (They don’t serve food but allow you to bring food in) Great heated yard for those of you who smoke.

Fantastic pub with great atmosphere! Lots of different choices with a good variation between Cameron’s and non-Cameron’s products on draft. Staff are very knowledgable and friendly when asked about drinks, and are more than happy to offer their own recommendations! Good choice of spirits as well for non-beer drinkers, especially the gin! Also love all the different cans they have on offer. Prices are very similar to the rest of Norton, but by far has the best vibe! Being dog friendly is brilliant, and their special dog events have a great atmosphere, including treats for both dogs and humans! Overall fantastic pub, would recommend 100% if you’re in Norton village!

Myself and my 3 friends went for their weekly pub quiz and it was an amazing night out. They have a lovely selection of drinks and although they didn’t serve food, they do allow you to bring your own in. Quiz was amazing and the pub had a great atmosphere.

Went to the Taylor Swift quiz night! It was nothing but “enchanted.” Lots of fun games and chances to win free drinks. The staff are all absolutely amazing and so lovely! I got the chance to sing one of her songs and everyone loved it. What a great night for everyone involved! Well done. See you at the next one ❤️

Came for a beer tasting session and WOW!! The staff are so knowledgeable about the beers they stock and the selection is massive and such a range from Belgians to stouts all delicious!!

Enjoyed a few nights out in Norton in this pub. The staff were very helpful in giving beer recommendations. Will definitely be visiting more in 2024. Thanks to all staff, you were very busy at the time of my visit but still very attentive.

Went in here for our regular Christmas Night Out , even though there were bar staff serving , the men working extremely hard , however the young female staff were right in front of us they could see us but they just kept on chatting to each other for about 5 minutes , no matter what we did to attract their attention was ignored , finally when we did get served it was £6.20 a pint of cider and £5.90 a Guiness - its actually cheaper to drink in London - WHAT AN ABSOLUTE RIP OFF , and then letting people around the bar Vape - i thought this was banned in pubs - very off putting , based on these examples of terrible service and rip off prices WE WILL NEVER EVER COME TO THIS BAR AGAIN , but i like to be fair in my reviews and say the men who were working behind the bar were working really hard - probably having to make up for the inefficiency of the young lasses - heaven knows what they are taught at school but obviously not fit for the real world.

Really helpful and knowledgeable bar staff about the range of great beers available, will definitely be back soon!
