The best restaurants in Berwick East Northumberland North East

This is a little hidden gem! Totally vegan (dog friendly) cafe, small and compact with beautiful cakes on display. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming and this little cafe is a must visit on a Friday or Saturday! I had a slice of the chocolate and raspberry cake which was the best vegan cake I have ever tasted! Their signature coffee from a cafetière was also delicious! A lovely visit to a place I’ve been wanting to go to for a long while. I will definitely return!

Great find this little cafe, Always working away around the country and by far this is the best cafe we've been to, Really tasty food and quality ingredients that's the Half Stottie pictured, and I don't think I'd attempt the Full Stottie don't think I would manage it and I'm FAT!! Great staff and very welcoming.

On holiday in the area and thought we’d try here, the pizzas were excellent, the best takeaway pizzas we’ve had. The stuffed crust was also really tasty. Big portion sizes too

An excellent ‘proper’ pub with real ales and friendly bar. Separate restaurant for gastropub food which was very good. The steak pie is as previously described: fantastic! Home made that day with generous filling. Delicious. The menu and daily specials were enticing. Our meals were perfectly cooked (compliments to the chef). A great place for great price.

Zero stars. Closed before 10pm on a Sunday. Signs outside (and Google) claim 11pm. Don't waste your time.

Avoid!! Bought 4 pizza's and most went in the bin, they would not send out new ones despite our complaint over the phone, we would have to return them ourselves. All were very burnt on the bottom, and despite being burnt one had raw dough on the top under the topping as had obviously been cooked in an oven far too hot. The Kiev one didn't taste of garlic or even smell of it. Avoid at all cost.

The food was hot and very tasty. I had sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style with fried rice - delicious. My other half had Singapore chow mein with curry sauce and a portion of chips. Wow - the portions were so generous that we couldn’t eat the chips. So, lovely food but perhaps they should show the size of the portions / container when ordering!

Had a burger and chips here , 1st and definitely last , chips luke warm , burger dry and nasty . Avoid this place , town is a short walk , and I was warned by another lorry driver not to bother. Wish I'd listened!

Total rip off. Over a fiver for an ice cream and a coke.

I stopped visiting the Hong Kong chop Suey house last November after three separate meals were all disgusting food was greasy soggy not a tall enjoyable shall I give us a zero rating
