Tuck away on the back streets of the Spittal area of Berwick upon Tweed close to the sea front is this little gem of a restaurant cafe. Lovely friendly service - loved children & kids with seating outside and part of a little oasis of adjoining businesses. Has to be experienced to believe - go see it for yourself & enjoy.

We called today after picking our daughter up at Edinburgh airport have been going to visit for ages but finally made it today Saturday 16th. Food was really tasty we had Mushroom burgers and Mongolian no beef followed by banana cake and marmalade cake which were delicious! It was lovely to see such an original cafe enjoyed the hectic friendly atmosphere. Hope we make it again

Daily special was incredible, plenty of choice on the menu for whatever you fancy. I tried all of the cakes the owner had on for the day, my favourite being the rhubarb and custard sponge followed by the carrot and lime cake, simply delicious. The young person on the coffee station was incredibly polite and the specialty coffee was delicious. The owner is incredibly accomodating and friendly, lovely to have a chat with! All in all, excellent, will definitely be going again.

Fab vegan food in an unexpected place. Had doner style kebab. Very nice. Partner had a pint from the next door micro brewery. Great beer apparently!

Bought cake as a takeaway whilst staying at the caravan site. Toffee apple cake was beautiful as was the coconut chocolate raspberry cake. Limited lunch menu but looked very tasty. All vegan, home made. Would definitely recommend.

We came across this lovely little cafe on our way to Spittal beach today and we‘d highly recommend it. Both the beach and the cafe made for a lovely afternoon out.

The Cakery is very unassuming from the outside but a really good cafe. All the food is prepared by the helpful owner and, although the menu is not huge, it is good quality and value, and the cakes are amazing. We can highly recommend a visit😁😁.

We were very happy to find this lovely little café. We had vanilla chai and cakes. Really wanted to go back for lunch the next day but we had to catch our train. Drop in on your way back from the beach.

Arrived in Spittal for the first time in decades having met up with friend. This modest cafe is an amazing oasis of simply yet wonderfully prepared food The meals are a fusion of the best of Middle East and traditional sea side chips all served on a cosy setting. There is a craft brewery attached to the cafe which I would imagine has a great vibe. We just had time for tea and cake The cakes are all home made and delicious. Wonderful find . Friendly management/staff. Excellent value for money . Location close to beach What more could you want! Will return

Had some cake from here which was lovely but the African sweet potato peanut curry was out of this world. Full of flavour and so tasty. Good service and fab food. What more can you ask for. We'll return your tupperware!

This is a hidden gem of a place. Delicious vegan cakes, and a selection is savoury dishes to sample. Generous portions, excellent value and lovely friendly staff. Not far from the promenade at Spittall village, just outside Berwick Upon Tweed, it's handy to drop in for lunch before a walk along the beach or for a coffee and cake. Will definitely visit again.

A little hidden gem. Great local coffee and cakes. Lunchtime food looked great too. Also loved visiting the interesting little food shop behind this place. Shame the brewery wasn't open for the hat trick! Will have to come back.

A truly lovely small friendly and wonderfully fully vegan cafe. Great cakes and savory dishes (I had the masala dirty fries which were incredible) eat in or take away or better eat while having a vgn beer at the next door micro brewery, seriously doesn't get much better than that!

Lovely little business hidden away. Really tasty food served by nice people. Looked like it had a nice loyal following from the locals and we were made up that we were able to catch it on the last day of our holiday. Well worth checking out.

The postal address had a Morpeth post town, even though it is close to Amble. Finding it with the aid of a satnav was essential. A lovely sunny day and the field out front was very busy. All sorts were there, a food concession was selling pizza. The beer was varied, but great. Just a pity i was driving, no carry out bright beer is available. Only in cans. Such a shame, would have loved to taken away some of their heavier beer approx 6% ABV Staff were friendly and the interior accommodation was good.

This place is a totally fantastic! Do not miss out on the 'Kipper in a Bun'. I wavered, and thought to maybe have a 'Banger in a Bun' although was so glad I went with the Kipper. Perfectly cooked Kippers, Lemon mayonnaise, in a soft white roll eaten on the beach was just divine. Wife's comments were 'That was Lush!'. Great friendly service and all locally sourced delicious produce. Even the coffee was from Holly Island! All in a free car park!
