My twin brother Stephen and I decided to visit the pubs over in Gateshead, a fun bar we dropped by was Curleys Bar. This is a nice looking bar , pubby decor and furnishings, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, tv's to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, its a really good bar to unwind in . We ordered a cider each ,these were served in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. My cider was really good, a crisp, sparkling, effervescent cider that certainly cut through the thirst on a hot afternoon, it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality cider in such a vibrant area of Gateshead. We really enjoyed our ciders in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to Curleys Bar we had a great time. Curleys Bar is so easy to locate along High Street in Gateshead, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Delicious foods in Sri Lankan style with different spicy levels. Great customer service and easy vehicle parking. After a long time we enjoy with amazing Sri Lankan foods with masala tea.

This hidden gem has been on the west road since 1989, genuine old school Indian takeaway ran by father & son. This is one of the best chicken tikka I’ve tried in Newcastle, soft, succulent and full of flavour, it’s was cooked to perfection! The Lentil and Bombay potato’s side dishes had perfect level of spices and flavour! I would definitely recommend to try out and visit !

Mi restaurante italiano local y mi favorito. Gran comida, gran personal, a un precio muy razonable - sin pretensiones, solo buena comida. Una de las mejores lasañas (si no la mejor) que he probado. Muy recomendable - visito con bastante regularidad y debería haber hecho una revisión mucho antes de ahora. Increíble, gracias!

The food and service here alway spot on from here. The large chicken kebabs and wraps are amazing.

Had 2 visits here recently, 1st had raspberry and white chocolate scone and 2nd cheese. Both lovely. Coffee nice too. Brownies look gorgeous.Shame its not better frequented as quality great

Great place for snacks or breakfast can be super busy sometimes but they do £1 waffle and their super fresh not to sure about opening times tho 😕 would recommend 👍

I have used this Indian takeaway for over 30 year always been really happy but yesterday at 6:40 I ordered a delivery and was told it would take 40 minutes after waiting an hour and a half. I rang up. I was told my takeaway had left the shop quite a while ago He would ring the driver and get back to me he didn’t so I rang up again and was told he didn’t know where it was. It finally arrived at 8:20. And I told them to take it away I no longer wanted it. I’m extremely annoyed. I live two minutes away from the restaurant. And I was told by the driver they got caught up in the traffic in Newcastle city Centre because of the match what was my takeaway doing in Newcastle city Centre when I live two minutes away from the shop? Obviously, they have now lost a customer because I won’t be using them again !!

Found this little restaurant when staying in the area. The food is very good and is attached to a take away if you don’t want to eat in. No alcohol license but you are welcome to bring your own. Will definitely call again when in the area.

Closes at random, never any fillings, stinking attitude, shame because the food is decent. Doesn't have a clue how to run a business or how to speak to customers
