Was very excited for my chippy today, but my excitement was short lived. Ordered 2 cod and chips. Chips were rubbery, overcooked, bland. Fish, rubbery, almost plastic like with a strong fish taste as though it had been left in the freezer for weeks. Ordered a garlic sauce, saying it was half full would be generous we got the scraps at the bottom of the bottle. Tasted flavourless. The curry on the other hand - divine. But that doesn’t make up for the utter waste of £26

After hearing negative reviews to say the least from lots of people I decided to go and see if it was really as bad as I have heard, to say I was shocked is an understatement. The chips were cooked to perfection and the sausage was perfect with the right amount of batter too. Also the staff there were some of the most friendly people I have ever met I was there for hours talking to them they even gave me a fork for 5 pence. I think as far as fish and chips go you don’t get much better than tait’s it makes me emotional just writing this as the man and woman who worked there have made me a better person by giving me the best fish and chips of my life. All I can say is thank you
