Delicious foods in Sri Lankan style with different spicy levels. Great customer service and easy vehicle parking. After a long time we enjoy with amazing Sri Lankan foods with masala tea.

Love the chicken kottu paratha and fish cutlets.

I had a chicken kotthu, string hopper kotthu and some short eats, everything was so delicious!! Definitely a good find in New Castle and to visit again.

No words. Just a hidden gem. There’s a variety of dishes here, and it ranges so far they even do catering. I tried the chicken fried rice and for £7 it’s amazing how good the food was. Quality of the food was fresh and cooked for order, and you can taste the core elements of the dishes itself. Highly recommend the mutton kotthu, the fried rice and the mutton rolls they were superb.

Best Sri Lankan food in the North East! Recommend the Harischandra noodles and Devilled Prawns. Good portions and amazing service :)

Visited Kirchi's Kitchen for takeout, the food was delicious shout out for the goat curry vegetable rolls and samosa. Suki was a really helpful and welcoming restauranteur. Very glad we stopped by.

We love coming to Kitchi’s kitchen. Suki is a wonderful host and his knowledge on food is superb. He demonstrates a wonderful menu, all of which is extremely authentic and delicious!

Food and service was good. Delicious curry and many varieties to pick from. Facilities can be improved but food was good.

Amazing food with proper Indian/Sri Lankan flavors, you won't find this kind of Indian food in the UK. The service is also great, the guy who manages is very helpful and polite. Definitely worth a try!

This was the greatest food experience I had after almost a year being away from home. I had kottu, fish cutlet and wada which were tastier than all the other restaurants who claim to be Sri Lankan. Visited the restaurant for dinner.The service was excellent and made sure everything was perfect.The service was very quick.the ghee dosa was good and crispy.Chicken kothu was quite tasty and they made sure it was upto our spice levels. tea and falooda was really good too.Ended the dinner with a delicious fruit salad,would definitely be back for more❤️

Best Koththu in Newcastle. Mutton Koththu is the best. And the Masala Dosa♥️ Value for money and the taste is absolutely amazing. Mutton rolls were next level.. Amazing♥️♥️♥️ I ordered delivery and they sent me with an uber. Till I get the delivery, the person from the restaurant was in touch with me. Great customer service. Best srilankan food I've had! It's authentic and the food was really good portions as well! So generous and such a heartfelt meal! The owner was too nice and service was fabulous!, he gave us complimentary Srilankan dishes in addition! such a hearty authentic tasty meal after so long! The pittu, sambal and fried rice was highlight! Will definitely be going there next time im in newcastle! There's also parking available and a great dining space.

Great food with real authentic Sri Lankan and Indian taste. Owner is friendly and generous. They have good range of Sri Lankan and indian unique dishes. I tried "Ghee Dosa" and it is delicious. They have good choices for vegetarian or vegas as well. Occasionally they have some special promotions and better to ring the restaurant beforehand. Calm and peaceful environment while my visit. When we reach there, Restaurant door was closed and I rang the number displayed. Then the owner came and open the door for us. If you seek for such food definitely better try this one and I'm pretty sure you visit again.

Best place to have mutton and chicken kothu in Newcastle. Everything that we ordered was good. Staff was very friendly to customers and orders were made according to customer’s specifications which is highly appreciable. Most importantly the food was served fresh and hot. Very, very nice food. A refreshing variety of dishes that are very different from the normal Bengali style that is more common. The chef is excellent and very welcoming. Can't wait to eat here again and try some more new dishes!

Incredible kothu paratha, must try! We had takeout from Kitchi’s recently and the kothu paratha simply blew my mind. Very authentic and they didn’t shy away from spices. The other dishes were decent, fish cutlet could do with more fish. The owner is friendly and accommodating. Hope to be back to try some of the other items on the menu.

We ordered takeaway tonight, starting with medu vadai and change dal vadai. Both starters were still hot when we got home with our order, and both came with a coconut chutney. Really delicious starters that took us back to our honey moon in Sri Lanka, my favourite being the crunchier Dal vadai. For mains we shared a vegi kothu roti which is a lovely flavourful stir-fry with paratha a vegetables, we asked for spicy which was the middle options of 3 strength spicings. We also went for a vegetable sabzi which is a mild curry full of cauli, green beans, carrots and potatoes. All served with a side if onion rice. Couldn't resist trying the masala chips which also were lovely spiced chips with fried onions scattered throughout. We also ordered some additional chutneys and garlic dip. All in all it was a wonderful, tasty supper and with 20% off our first online order was good value! We even have some left for tomorrow. I recommend this great Sri Lankan takeaway, and hope one day to dine in with friends.

The food is authentic and tasty. The owner is very friendly. He allowed us to dine-in even though dine in was closed. Regarding the food, kothu was very well prepared and rightly spiced. The prawns were also delicious. Everything was prepared with freshly grinded spices and with right proportions of spices!

Had a wonderful dinner at kitchi’s yesterday. The food was really good. A special shout out to their fish cutlets. Excellent flavour. Noodles and kothu roti also tasted excellent. The dish was authentic and the spice level was perfect. We will definitely come back for this taste. Quantity quality and taste stands out for this restaurant. Highly recommend this place for authentic Sri Lankan, South Indian and Italian food.

Absolutely incredible! Genuinely one of the tastiest meals we have ever had. The authenticity of the flavours is unmatched, it took me straight back to Sri Lanka! Super friendly staff, who went above and beyond for our special occasion. 10/10

The best desi food I have had after coming to UK. Tried their fish cutlets for starter. It was mind blowing. It was the best starter I have had in the longest time. The succulent and rightly spiced potato and fish filling and that crispy coating on the outside. It’s a treat!!! We tried chicken noodles and mixed kothu roti for main course . The best part is you can choose your spice level. I love my food extra spicy and I just loved them both. Mixed kothu roti took me back home. The gravy that came with it was a perfect match for the kothu as well as the spicy egg Veechu roti that we tried. Yummy food. We washed all this down with a simple falooda that was nothing fancy but will definitely leave you smiling because of it’s true flavour. Had this amazing conversation with the owner/ chef and he is gem of a guy. Guess what only people who love to feed people with all of their heart can make such amazing food. I have to mention their quantity it’s really worth every pound that you spend. You will only leave the place with your tummy and heart full… almost exploding !!! Will definitely go back over and over again.

By far the best indian/Sri Lankan food you can buy. Chefs really know they stuff. Friendly and so happy to talk about the whole cooking process. I can't speak highly enough. All freshly prepared. Forget going to Newcastle, try kichi's you will not be disappointed 😃

First time ordering takeaway. Real home cooking from a lovely Sri Lankan lady. Delicious, amazing flavour and quality, loads of veggie options and seems very authentic. So much better than boring Western style Indian takeaways! Plus I got extra veggie freebies, thank you!! Can't wait to reorder!

Been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally got around to it last night. Started well, as staff were very friendly. There were 4 of us, so we had a selection of starters and a devilled chicken to start between us. Couldn't fault any of it, very authentic and the devilled chicken was superb - took me straight back to Sri Lanka. The mains were equally excellent. If you want authentic Sri Lankan / southern Indian food, something a bit different to the normal Indian Restaurant, this is a must. They even have a few Italian dishes incase not everybody likes Indian flavours. Prices for the food and the alcohol were very very reasonable. I think I may have just found my new favourite restaurant!!

They even offered to drop my future orders off when they are next in town as I’m based a bit further away from them. One of the best Sri Lankan restaurants I have visited! The food was absolutely amazing, I wish I Could have eaten more. The service was also amazing and staff so friendly and welcoming. Had a range of items on the menu such as Mutton Kothu, devilled chicken, idli, paneer curry and ghee dosa. Definitely get your monies worth here, so glad I found this place. Definitely will be coming back again when in Newcastle.

Loved the food i ate. I had the meat samosas, fish and potato croquettes and the chicken fried rice (extra spicy). It was delicious and great value. I would recommend and eat there again

Came here with my sister ordered the lamb mutton as others said it was good can confirm it is. My sister ordered the goat soup which was amazing, fish cutlet was ok not really my kind of thing. Then ordered the mutton dosa and goat curry and paratha. Dosa was spot on, if you like heavy spice then goat curry is for you. The food was amazing but the service exceptional. The owner was very freindly and helped us navigate the menu and reccomend what may be palatable to our taste. Will be coming back for sure.

Great food and great service. This is authentic Sri-Lankan tamil food and reminded me of my mother's cooking. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends to try out - you will not be disappointed! Edit (3/4/21) - I continue to regularly buy from Kitchi's Kitchen for that authentic Sri Lankan taste and he always delivers with a smile. Genuine chef with a passion to deliver quality food that does his home country proud. I recently had the pleasure of having his Blue Crab curry and what can I say, I was not disappointed! A throwback to my childhood. 10/10.

Beautiful, fragrant dishes unmatched by any other takeaway that I've tried in the city. Portions are generous and they come with a kick. Devilled prawns are served with their tails and are plump and firm; the chicken kothu is a household favourite along with medu vada but the masala Dosa reigns supreme. Excellent!

First time in Newcastle on a Business Trip and thought of having some Srilankan Meal. First of all I was amazed with the variety if srilankan meals available. Ordered Squid Devil , Goat Curry , King Fish Fry, fried rice.upon delivery I saw complimentary Egg Omlet. Quality of the food: I'm picky with food and not the normal kind who does reviews but this meal was mouth melting and was very tasty. Will order again and nice to see some Srilankan Local Variety Meal. I would definitely come and order again on my next visit and I would definitely recommend to family and friends. 5 star Overall
