This cafe is great. Very friendly and the food is fantastic! They also do some gorgeous cakes as well. It is an absolute gem!

A family of 20 booked in here for a birthday meal,to make it easier we pre booked food, service was very good & food also very good. My only complaint would be that there were too many tables squeezed into small area,we were that close to back wall people had to crawl under table to go to loo.

Had a takeaway last night it can be a bit hot and miss but generally good. Last night was dreadful to the point of “never again” the over use of red food colouring is frankly absurd. I can only think it has changed hands. Why can takeaways in the north not get the basics right.

I've only used this specific store a couple of times over the last 12 months, but i almost always use it when i do pass that area. It's a small unit within a large BP "petrol station shop", the main shop is a SPAR, with Subway, so the prices are slightly higher, but the quality is excellent and the staff always seem to be bright and cheerful. On this specific visit at 10:30am there was a good selection of hot & cold items available, but the corned beef bake and cheese & onion slice were both "room temperature" instead of warm/hot. Personally I do have one complaint, which applies to Greggs sandwiches as well as the majority of sandwiches sold by other such outlets. As an IBD sufferer (Crohns), I really struggle to find "ready made" items that i can eat without any serious digestive problems. In my case, Iceberg lettuce is completely problem free, as is white bread but it seems that all sandwiches these days use "mixed leaves" instead, which i have to painstakingly remove in order to avoid severe intestinal pains and possible blockages. Greggs do at least have white baguettes, but it would be nice if they also offered white rolls as well as brown. For an IBD sufferer such as myself, it's like playing Russian Roulette with sandwiches, all for the sake of some white bread and iceberg lettuce. The food is delicious, but sometimes i have to miss out because it's not worth the risk of a trip to A&E and possible hospitalisation.
