Absolutely shocking, sorry but I must have had a few today to pay £9-90 for sausage and chips with a carton of peas and gravy, I could an all you eat buffet in Durham for that price , terrible 🤬🤬🤬

If only I could give 0 stars food disgusting cold where do I even start the fish is like rubber out of here! Chips are always soggy and minging went in for a large sasage and chips portion was very very small utter waste of my money everytime I been here I been disappointed worsed fishy in ferryhill avoid like the plague staff either look miserable and don't use basic manners!! DO NOT GET ANY FOOD FROM HERE I PROMISE YOU WILL BE DISSATISFIED

No one smiles anymore or says please or thank you. Fish bland chips undercooked staff miserable.

I have just enjoyed the most beautiful piece of cod, perfectly fried with delicious, none soggy batter. Only a little bit of room for a couple of chips!

Came here 45 minutes before closing, me and my daughter got some chips and a sausage to share. The chips were over cooked and the sausage wasn't that nice. If I knew it was going to cost £4.90 I wouldn't of bothered. Since when was a sausage £2.30 it's a complete rip off. I won't be going back.

Well that's my last visit here. Staff seem more interested in serving their mates in priority rather than the waiting queue. Several times been here and got nothing ready, and don't put too much faith in those closing times either. It's not even reasonably priced, and a right sarcy type behind the counter.

We really enjoyed it, fish was good, chips were nice, spam fritter on point and my doggo enjoyed the sosig 😀

Its the best fish shop in the world "" PROBABLY ""...... The staff are greeeat and very friendly and the food is AWESOME and well worth a visit . I always get A large fish and 2 fish cakes mmmmm AWESOME, but HEY dont take my word for it Go Go Go Go Go And get yourself some , and you will be a REGULAR just like ME .

Absolutely superb fish n chips and very tasty. The cod is so white. Yesterday though 21.05.20 a member of staff covered all the chips with the fish (twice) and then added the salt and vinegar on top of the fish. I thought the whole planet knows the salt and vinegar goes over the chips. I thought this was weird.

Food is terrible I've tried on 3 separate occasions but still I couldn't eat the chips and sausage. One of the employees was smoking out back came back in didn't wash her hands and started preparing to batter the fish and cook it. I love fish and chips and as this is the only one close I must say I am gutted ☹
