They make the best pizza and pasta around all the staff are excellent larenzo top man nothing is to much bother

During my shopping trip to the local town centre, I found myself quite hungry and wanting something different than the normal grab & go from Greggs. I had heard of a wonderful family run Italian nearby, and I was in the mood for my favourite dish of Spaghetti Bolognaise. From the outside, I thought it was a sweetshop, but after venturing inside, I was welcomed by a warm and welcoming interior. The lighting was not too bright and had a nice cosy feel. I ordered my meal with coffee from a wonderful and pleasant couple behind the counter. After sitting down to wait, I was able to connect to the WIFI via BT. This allowed me to catch up on some news while I waited. The coffee was wonderful and strong. Properly brewed and not the instant coffee that's often served in other cafés. My spaghetti did not take long to get to me and was simply delicious. Well worth the short wait. Was authentic Italian style and fresh. Afterwards, I was recommended Biscoff and caramel cheesecake for desert. It was almost too beautiful to eat, but eat it, I did. It was heavenly. I now also recommend it. All in all, Romana's is a very pleasant restaurant that serves delicious, hot, and fresh food. Their deserts are of the highest quality, and the people serving are polite, courteous, and very welcoming. There is ample space inside for anyone who needs wheelchair access with a suitable car park right outside. If you are not able to visit, they also offer takeaway and delivery. I can't recommend Roma enough. Definitely a benefit to the locals of Ferryhill and beyond, and they now have a new regular customer.

The steak sandwiches were gorgeous ! We got 2 and an extra chips and shared between 4 of us. You can see them preparing the food and kitchen looks very clean

Great service over the phone & by the driver. Beautiful spaghetti bolognese, better than some of the Italians I’ve tried! Can’t fault it, will definitely be ordering again :)

Presume new owners. Couldn't have been more obliging nothing too much trouble. The food is excellent and my husband said the coffee was good and that from someone who only drinks Costa coffee is praise indeed. Look forward to visiting next time we are up here.

Great family owned restaurant and pizzeria, the owner Lorenzo took the time to talk us through the menu on arrival and made us feel at home from our first visit. All of the pizzas are made from scratch, right in front of you if you're there in person, with fresh ingredients and homemade dough. Fantastic guy and smashing food - definitely the place to visit when you're in the area.
