Old pub good I like it . A bit rough and ready , good atmosphere, friendly staff, I do go there regularly.

If you want to go to a friendly pub go to the Dean and chapter avoid going to the white horse they disrespect people who have learning disabilities and they refuse people in who are in wheelchairs staff are always drunk and then they will take the mick out of people who are vulnerable

Been a long time since I have been in here, I prefer to stay in now rather than go out on the drink. But... I really enjoyed my night in here, music was great with dance and lights. Iv always thought Ferryhill people are quite welcoming to outsiders. It's reasonably cheap and staff are polite.

Dropped in for a beer , was made to feel very welcome by the staff and local customers. We happened to be there at “ Happy Hour “ £1-80 a pint brilliant: Very nice clean friendly pub .

Great night last night,went into the lounge area and they put the jukebox on for us around that side.Couldn't have been more accomodating.Well priced,good atmosphere and top service

They are friendly people who work here and are really thorough with ID checks.the quality of drink is decent for the area.

Great pub with a good selection of beers ,wines and spirits. The service is friendly and welcoming. As is the fantastic roaring real log fire ( so seldom seen in pubs nowadays!!) . I shall certainly be visiting again.

Some of the people who go aren't the best of company I suppose it is okay for a quick pint I wouldn't recommend it though

Good friemdly local,best in Ferryhill

This place has recently changed to private ownership and been totally overhauled and refurbished, and now it's amazing. The Sunday lunch was absolutely first class and plentiful, and all the staff were extremely friendly and obliging. They also have a band on every Sunday afternoon so we ended up staying on after lunch and having a great night. The pictures on here all appear to be old ones from before it was done up, now the decor is really unusual with brightly coloured parrot wallpaper in the dining room and all sorts of interesting bric a brac. We'll be going again soon definitely.

This pub has changed hands a few times over the past ten years, the latest incumbent has re introduced real ale (one hand pump) and up graded the decoration even though the wall paper scheme is not to my taste the place is clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the locals seam like a good bunch.

Los nuevos propietarios han acabado reformando el pub y ahora están ofreciendo £14.95 Merienda para dos. Disfrutamos de un delicioso té en el nuevo comedor y luego fuimos al bar para un par de copas. Todo el mundo era muy amable. Los precios eran muy razonables. La decoración era impresionante, muy inusual. Vale la pena un viaje para visitar esta, sin duda. Volveremos otra vez.

No es la primera vez que he visitado y no es la primera crítica que he escrito, pero esta vez nos impresionó encontrar aún más adiciones al menú, al bar y al edificio.Los nuevos propietarios son continuar a empujar el lugar más y más arriba de la colina, no en términos de precio (los precios son increíblemente rasonable!), pero sólo en términos de elección, el ambiente y el interés. Si están cerca, usted debe hacer un destino. Domingo empaquetadas, gran legendario cócteles.

Este lugar ha pasado de la gestión de propiedad privada, en pubco y los nuevos propietarios han intensificado el juego considerablemente. Hemos estado aquí antes y disfrutamos de una comida de domingo, aunque nos olvidamos de revisión en el momento, pero esta vez realmente nos asombró los calcetines fuera y superó las expectativas. El ambiente y la decoración del lugar, ya que fue restaurado por los nuevos propietarios ha llevado a un nuevo nivel. El personal era amable y servicial y la comida era excelente, las porciones generosas de carne asada, precioso yorkshire flanes y un montón de verduras frescas hizo que nuestra experiencia domingo almuerzo uno regresaremos para regularmente. Altamente recomendado.
