EMMYS in County Durham

First time trying Emmy’s and have to say the food and service was great. Lad behind the counter was nice mannered and very respectful. The food was absolutely beautiful, I tried “The Big Un” cheeseburger and have to say I was very impressed. Burger was cooked fine chips that came with it seasoned fine. Will definitely be trying again👍

Got a burger and chips and ive seen more chips on a kids happy meal at McDonald’s

The food took nearly hour and half to get to mine. And when I saw what I paid for I was genuinely gutted, I thought first time ordering I was hoping to be blown away, instead I've had to nip to maccys to get some extra chips and a drink, The foods ok but nothing like the prices it's asking for, overpriced and heavily under delivered

Ordered an Emmy's stack meal for lunch, was ridiculously good! Great portion size which is lovely in this day and age! Just really tasty and nice quality food.

My car was in a local garage so had time to kill and being hungry I went looking for a cafe. First one I found was very busy so I ordered a full English but then found out it was cash only. What times are we in if a cafe doesn’t accept a card payment. Walked a bit further and found this place. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a good morning and immediately spotted a cards accepted sign so ordered a full English without tomatoes and a coffee which came piping hot, fresh, very tasty and was indeed without tomatoes. Coffee was also very good and hit the spot on a cold wet summers day. Staff were very welcoming, polite and friendly. Thanks Emmys.

Had another fantastic burger from Emmys with dirty fries, delivered on time and hot and tasty. Absolutely lovely and never had a bad meal here. One of the best takeaways in a Chester le Street imo.

Very chilled and laid back, offering everything from sandwiches and toasties to burgers and hotdogs.

Could of done with a little more filling I felt in the chicken tikka gyro wrap .both myself & friend ordered brownies ,they were melted from being on hot food . My other friend asked if I'd eaten some as it was so small

This place is now one of our go to takeaways as its always really good quality food, tasty, hot and good portion sizes.

We ordered the emmys burger and a halloumi burger, I usually struggle to find good burgers but finally managed to find a place which can meet expectations. The menu may seem pricey at first glance but the value for money is right up there. Thick burger patties and seasoned chips - exactly what I needed to help the hangover

My daughter ordered a breakfast from here, with no tomatoes. Firstly, there were tomatoes in it, which fair enough can be pulled out. But there was also RAW egg in it. My daughter called to complain, and was told there was no way the eggs were raw, then proceeded to try and say it was her eyesight at fault, probably because of the steam coming off it!! I told my daughter to march down and get a refund, which they wouldn't give!!! All they offered was a free bacon sandwich if she ordered again. Not good enough!!

Right so had a breakfast delivered asked for no tomatoes In both and there is tomatoes, also the egg was NOT cooked, it was in one but the other there was white snot like substance in top of the egg, we ring up and tell them and there is “nothing they’ll do about it!” Horrible

Just gorgeous food. Cooked perfectly. Got barbecue honey chicken box, Korean chicken box and garlic aoli smash burger. All were just perfect and we will be back.

We hadn't heard of this place but saw it on justeat, read the excellent reviews and decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed, the food arrived piping hot and on time. Very reasonable too. My chilli dog was to die for and hubby said his beef dog was delicious. We will certainly be back. The delivery guy was pleasant and friendly too

Had a cheese n bacon burger and it was unreal, chips are amazing aswel. This is a proper scran. Staff are boss aswel. Recommend that everyone gets down to emmys ASAP coz it's unreal👍👍

Food is amazing. Its restaurant quality delivered to the door. Portions are big, ill be working the menue one meal at a time. Check out the burgers, just Wow. Staff are awesome. Big hats off for me. Try it .

Me and Partner ordered the Honey BBQ chicken box Salted & Pepper Chicken and Halloumi wrap Loaded Fries Halloumi Firstly the Honey BBQ Chicken was mouthwateringly tender. The Wrap was so nice and greatly enjoyable I wish I had another one. But the Halloumi was cooked to perfection! It was nicely caramelized and wasn't chewy! (Which from other places usually are) The homemade coleslaw was lush Now the loaded fries! OMG Chilli, Cheese, Pulled Pork. 😱❣️😱❣️😱 This is going to be our new favourite takeaway.
