The best restaurants in Carshalton South and Clockhouse Sutton London

Ordered a couple of jacket potatoes at about 1pm. Half an hour later they still hadn't arrived. Gave up and got a refund. Should have told us when we ordered that there was such a big wait.

Ordered yesterday the salmon was dangerously burnt. No idea why they thought it was acceptable for it to be sent to customers. Also the sheekh kebab was also overdone and tasted like rubber. My partner did speak to the manager who initially said all his drivers are busy but he could delivery it the next day (as it was late in the night we agreed) but I needed to call back to remind him. The next day I did call back and surprise surprise the manager wasn’t around. The person on the phone had no idea of this. Well to restaurant here is a picture of what you sent. Hope you don’t send out anymore burnt food to your customers.

I ate here for the first time recently and the food was really nice, however a bit rich for my personal liking. The staff were friendly. It’s a same they don’t sell alcohol, (however you can bring your own).

Lots of help from the staff in the Aquarium area. Very good choice of fish and plants. I often visit the cafe here as by paying £15 per year you get 2 coffees per month free. Such a bargain and a nice chance to relax while mooching round the centre. I do think you offer very good value with your clubcard BUT...... Many people complaining of this, but I took the time to write this review and feedback to your managers in the hope to make it more transparent next year. Trouble is loads of people grumble... But few actually feed back to stores. See all the photos. See the email sent out which says there is 20% off selected Xmas food, but ONLY at your tills and nowhere else in the store this is contradicted and the full terms and conditions are displayed. Huge banners just before the food and seasonal food area. Big posters everywhere, huge signs at the entrance. Tiny terms and conditions at the tills, which when busy people will miss. Out off ALL the seasonal items I asked to be checked NONE were eligible. I was told at the till NO FOOD has the discount. That's not what your terms in the email say. You should be clearer with this. Just come back from an afternoon tea for a friend's birthday. Tracey looked after us extremely well and catered for vegetarians and meat eaters. Also allowed us to bring extra guests who just wanted lunch or coffee and cake. So thoughtful, so helpful. Made it a great experience. September 2024 Food was really lovely today.

We went for the Sunday buffet with a few friends. Whilst the service was great the food was mediocre and only just warm , despite us being there early. It is a shame but I can understand why there were so few people there. Sorry but not for me

Frequently eat from here and always find the food of a high standard. Satay sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Competitively priced, and always fresh and hot on arrival. I can’t recommend enough.

I recently moved to the area and have heard great reviews about Mohini (assuming the new name for this Balti house). The food came super quickly, hot and... was the best curry I have had in years. At such a reasonable price also. Very flavoursome, not oily, great portions and just very very tasty. I will be coming back!!

The wings were not the roasted grills but the breaded ones. The pizza was piping hot & so was the garlic bread.

I bought food from this take-away recently, took it home to find maggots in it. Was utterly disgusted and phoned the take-away only to be abused down the phone. Have reported it to the council. Don’t eat there…. Vile!
