The best restaurants in The Lane Southwark London

Great little cafe, we visited the area and had lunch there yesterday and had breakfast there today. The food is great. The service was wonderful and the staff were really friendly. It's really clean and tidy with every kind of sauce you could want on the table. Really good mug of tea, too. No faffy coffee cups. If you are in this area and want a great plate of food for a great price, this is the place to go.

I visited Bar OM on 29/09/2021. The customer service was outstanding, I was greeted at the entrance by a very friendly staff member, the food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered a few dishes for the table to share: grilled octopus, tiger prawns, grilled squid, chicken skewers, vegetarian spring rolls, Vietnamese baguettes, I also tried Vietnamese coffee, which is now my new favourite. The atmosphere was super relaxing, I loved how the place was decorated with lots of plants. Bar OM is situated in a very convenient location, it’s about 5 minutes walk from Peckam Rye Station. We were very lucky to get a table for six people as at about 8pm the place was full. It’s my favourite spot in Peckam and I will definitely be back.

We have based our running club at Peckham Arches for a number of runs in south London and find its the perfect spot for a Thursday evening jog followed by £3.50 discounted pints at the lively venue. We're all grateful for the super accommodating and friendly staff. We look forward to spending more spring and summer evenings at Peckham Arches. Thank you!

Por lo general muy buena, la comida faltó esta noche, pero el servicio al cliente fue 10 / 10 para rectificar. Valentines abrumó a Nando’s hoy, comprensiblemente. Los tiempos de espera no eran más de 10 minutos para sentarse, pero los tiempos de espera de la comida eran de unos 30 a 35 minutos. El pollo suele tener más sabor pero estaba picante. Las patatas fritas estaban un poco blandas, pero Sabrina llegó y sacó unas frescas (porción decente y cocinadas a la perfección, junto con una puré que había pedido). La espera fue un poco larga, pero estaba muy atenta y muy ocupada. Una joven con el pelo rojo era bastante servicial a mis peticiones y cubiertos y platos se repusieron sin necesidad de ser preguntado. Volveré, tal vez un poco antes. 7 / 10

Levan restaurant is very good and the service is very friendly

Este lugar era tan delicioso - cada pedazo era increíble. Ed nos sirvió y era uno de los mejores servidores que hemos tenido. Muchas gracias por una experiencia maravillosa, absolutamente volveremos pronto.

We were very much looking forward to come back here as we used to go regularly. It used to be rustic, relaxing and great tapas. The whole experince was chaotic as one waiter desperately tried to throw out food that was overcooked, dry and with zero love put in. To fail with such basic dishes and then charge 10 pounds per plate is a disgrace. When we complianed about a dish the staff just shrugged their shoulders with a smile and a knowing look before taking it away. No owner or manager in sight. Such a shame!

Esta es una valoración para Bar Levan que colinda con Levan. Aparecí un viernes por la noche y había bastantes mesas. Obviamente, no les gustó cómo me veía mientras me rechazaban, pero sentaron a dos chicas guapas detrás de mí. 😂 Hice una reserva (había muchas disponibles) y regresé. Dijeron que no tenemos mesa para ti, curiosamente me quedé afuera viendo mesas gratis. ¡Oh, Dios mío! ¿Soy demasiado viejo o feo? No creo que haya hecho nada, quizás no lo suficientemente genial. ¡Espera a que todos los hipsters se vayan y los lugares en Peckham se vean obligados a sentar a los residentes!

Wanted a Chinese for our last night in UK, before returning to the USA. Based on reviews we took an Uber from our airport hotel, having called ahead to reserve a table (something you should do). This place gets busy ! The speed of our service suffered due to this, but we didn’t have time constraints. BIG DIFFERENCE !!! The entree dishes are small, but are priced fairly. You could easily order 3 or 4 for 2 people. Our duck with pancakes was very good, as was my special chop suey (not a lot of protein content), but my wifes chow mein, while tasty, was very dry. When questioned the server said this was their normal style and sauce could be added by ordering a ‘special’ chow mein. A few tweaks here and there and this could be an excellent Chinese.

Vino aquí y me encantó la gama de cervezas. La comida también es de calidad y el personal es muy amable y atento. También vino para la fiesta jubel y DJ que fue genial.

Come a las 6. 30 pm un viernes por la noche. Ambiente agradable y sociable, servicio educado rápido y sabrosa selección de carne y opciones vegetarianas, todos los cuales eran realmente sabrosos, con sabores individuales pronunciados, definitivamente no soso. BYO alcohol. Los precios de los alimentos y el tamaño de las porciones eran muy razonables. No una cantidad excesiva, pero un plato bien equilibrado para cada huésped y todo delicioso. Bien hecho a todo el equipo, estamos dispuestos a volver!

Un lugar realmente encantador, pero la noche que fui, el personal estaba desesperado. Fueron muy amables pero confundieron nuestro pedido, trajeron nuestros pedidos en diferentes momentos, así que terminamos dejándonos enfriar mientras llegaban el resto de los pedidos.
