The best restaurants in Barnes Richmond upon Thames London

I’ve been buying my coffee sometimes lunch in this place since September 2023. I noticed a colleague of mine had been given a loyalty card. When I went in to buy my usual coffee I had asked when did you start doing loyalty cards. He proceeded with a reply of 10 years ago which I said ok and as I was leaving after paying for my coffee he had the cheek to say you should talk less and listen more! Lost a regular customer

We ordered through deliveroo. The thai green curry arrived like a tub of green water with a few pieces of chicken floating in it, and my noddle dish was extremely average. We had very high hopes for the place, but sadly it was so below par, they really need to up their game.

Not been to this one but absolutely gutted to learn that the Finchley branch has closed down😢. Best Thai food I’ve had in a very long time!

Such a shame as this is the perfect spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch etc! The restaurant is nice, clean and atmospheric! However, it really lets itself down by the service! The staff are generally friendly but, oh my goodness, service is virtually non existent! Waiting waiting waiting for the menu, then again, waiting for the order to be taken and then, the unbearable wait for food, no matter how many times we asked for each!! We were not the only ones, with other customers going up to the counter to ask for menus and where their food was etc etc! The coffee js good and the food, when it comes is just about ok - generally tepid and the pancakes basically a plate of stodge! We have only ourselves to blame as this was the third time we had been to Alma as we hoped the previous time had been a glitch but no, we put ourselves through this another couple of times but, the third time is very very sadly the last!

Fantastic weekend away in London. It's a lovely pub with a nice beer garden. The staff there are very accommodating. Would definitely recommend 👍

Vine aquí en una noche en noviembre. Tuve un altercado con un hombre muy borracho y el guardia de seguridad encantador nos ayudó a mí y a mi pareja a sentirse seguros. Nos llevó a una mesa más cerca de él para poder vigilarnos y cuando el borracho volvió le dijeron que se fuera. Gracias de nuevo a la seguridad

The food here is still lovely (although expensive) but you just get the feeling they have expanded too quickly and are not keeping up with quality control. The staff that this branch are particularly rude/dismissive. The tables have been organised so that people completely block the entrance to the disabled toilet when they sit down so they have to get up and move chairs and tables out of the way when a pram or wheelchair tries to get past - H&S?!!! Do yourself a favour and head to &Feast a couple of doors down instead. Independent coffee shop, fantastic coffee and the food is just as good.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere,staff are friendly and welcoming. Food are delicious and presented well and looks appetising. My 2 grown ups daughters feel happy to see the boxes of toys and they played with it.Amazing treats for them. Given me a box of chocolate for Mother’s Day.Thank you .

استمتعنا بتناول طعام الغداء في هذا المطعم الممتاز، الخدمة ممتازة جداً، اكلنا الدجاج مكاني مع الرز وايضاً الماسلا بالتوابل الحارة كانت لذيذة حقا ،انصح به محبي المؤكلات الهندية.

We both visited the Market today and came across this small restaurant in the centre of the Market seemed to pull us both in , with the promise of a very nice meal , we decided to have lunch, we both had Gammon egg and chips , and a tea , it came and very good it was too, surprised there wasn't many more people in eating , we will be definitely visiting there again when we go to the Market in the future ,it was Clean and well run I would recomend it to anyone couples or families , it's perfect hence the Exelent recommendation.

Nos dieron un vale para el cine y el restaurante. Nos pareció que el personal era muy amable y servicial, ya que tuvimos que cambiar las fechas. El maitre d’ fue muy amable e hizo que un lunes por la noche ordinario pareciera especial. Se llamaba Abel. Nuestro camarero también era muy bueno y ambos nos preguntaron si nuestra comida era para nuestra satisfacción. La comida era deliciosa y el servicio era excelente. ¡Gracias!
