We feel lucky to have such an excellent family run independent restaurant in our village. Service and food are excellent and prices very reasonable. The house wine is absolutely OK and a fraction of the price in the pub next door. Do book as it can be very busy weekends.

Disappointing experience. We have been many times but on this occasion we were very much let down. The food we chose was our usual but it was just awful…. We did tell the waiters that the food wasn’t good and we couldn’t finish the dishes but they didn’t show they cared. The food wasn’t fresh in fact it felt as if it was pre-made and just reheated!?? Maybe they have a new chef?? We paid our bill in full but we will not be going there any time soon. Disappointing! Not awesome but awful Thai!

Went here after watching Dune Part 2 in the incredible Olympic Studios across the road. The staff were incredible and welcoming and the general hubbub of the restaurant made the experience feel warm. All the food was beautifully presented, perfectly seasoned and, most importantly, delicious! The service was quick and there were ample options for people who had dietary needs and there were plenty of equally delicious vegetarian options available. I am definitely going to come here again!

Excellent food, friendly and attentive welcome

Forever one of my Top Thai restaurants. Great food, plenty of variety. Portion is filling, and great value. I think the staff could be a bit more welcoming. The woman who was serving us looked as if she did not want to be at work which made us feel a bit uneasy but the food adds to the experience. Amazing dishes. Will always return!

This is our local Thai place and we go here regularly. Lovely atmosphere and absolutely delicious food! I always get one of the curries and my partner gets a stir fry.

This is my fourth time and I have never been let down. Great food, fresh ingredients and lovely service. Ordered green curry, sweet and sour prawns and spicy chicken rice and two starters.

It was my first time there but I have just had a very fulfilling dinner and I must say Awesome Thai may just be one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve had thus far. It was beyond my expectations, from their customer service to their cuisine and from their atmosphere to their pricing they are top notch and honest. They do not ask for tips either and it’s one of the rare times where I was very keen to provide them the extra incentive. I must say definitely try their tamarind duck and their fried noodles. They definitely have the ‘wok hei’. Fantastic experience and a must visit!

Possibly a little overrated, The mixed starters were average The grilled chicken main didn’t taste like chicken and was quite bland. That being said ,this establishment appears to be popular with the locals.

Amazing food and lovely service.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant reading all the good reviews and I’m sorry to say but I’m pretty disappointed. To start on a positive note, ordering on the phone for takeaway went smoothly and also the collection. The chicken satay appetiser was quite nice and it’s good that they give prawn crackers, the peanut sauce and a vinegary cucumber/carrot/onion on the side. Now onto the bad part, the prawn pad thai was terrible. As soon as I opened the box I already knew they used way too much fish sauce for this one and the taste was even worse, terribly fishy, not the right balance at all sadly. Some people might prefer this but for me, I eat pad thai almost weekly, this is definitely not the right balance of fish sauce… way way waaaay too much and therefore I could only eat a few bites before I sadly had to chuck it.

Awesome by name, awesome food is what we got. The food is amazing, the service attentive but 'not in your face'. We chose 'Thai hot' for our mains, which elevated the flavour. The drinks menu was very reasnably priced. It was my husband's birthday so they surprised him with a beautiful panacotta with candles. I can't wait to return.

Lovely food. Authentic and comes out fresh and hot. This is our second visit and both times can’t fault the food but the staff always appear so stressed, don’t smile or talk to you. I understand they are very busy and tables make money but it feels as though they rush you out to get another bum on a seat.

What a lovely Thai restaurant this is. We stumbled upon it for lunch today and had a lovely meal. Everything tasted fresh, and portions were very good. I was struggling to finish my Pad Thai, and my girlfriend struggled to finish her egg fried rice and chicken with cashew nuts.

This is an absolutely awesome Thai restaurant that you should try when you are in this area. In fact I actually made a trip to try one of the best Thai food I could find! We asked for extra spicy for the dishes and the dishes did indeed were spicy and flavourful! Loving this to the max! Would recommend people to come.

This is the best local Thai restaurant, and consistently excellent, highly recommended. Nice location in central Barnes and opposite the Olympic Cinema.

I’ve eaten here a few times now and this place doesn’t disappoint. The menu is vast and includes some healthy options too, and all reasonably priced. Woul not hesitate to recommend.

Having loved this restaurant for many years, sadly the awful service has spoilt it for us. Visited a couple of Sundays ago. What has happened to the usual staff that are super friendly and welcoming. Non of the regular staff serving, only two grumpy waiters. In particular we were served by an extremely rude scruffy waiter. Such a shame as the food is great.
