My surname is Paul, though not related, unfortunately. Every Paul Bakery in London has been superb, especially the Macarons. We’ve had the coffee, tea, water, buns etc! All good & no complaints!

This was my first time trying Empanadas and I wasn’t disappointed I tried the 3 veggie options as I’m a vegetarian and they were an explosion of flavours on the tongue. The condiment was a little spicy for me but to be honest they didn’t need anything else. I only had to wait a few minutes for my order and I had a spinach and ricotta, pumpkin and goat cheese and a vegan humorist (sweetcorn) all washed down with a regular chai latte. I even had just a little room for a chocolate Alfajar which again was divine. The service was great and this was a great little find on my little trip to Wimbledon village. Def worth a visit 🤩👌🏻

We recently had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our wedding party at The Rose and Crown Pub and Hotel, and it was nothing short of extraordinary! From the very beginning, Nicky and her incredible team went above and beyond to ensure that our special day was perfect in every way possible. The thoughtfulness and care that Nicky put into making our celebration memorable was evident in every detail. She personally went out and bought the most beautiful flowers for the table arrangements, which added a lovely touch of elegance and freshness to the room. It felt as if she genuinely cared about making our day as unique and special as possible. A special shoutout to Sophie, who was instrumental in helping us decorate the room. Her eye for detail and creative flair transformed the space into a stunning venue that exceeded all of our expectations. What stood out the most was that there was absolutely nothing that Nicky and her team wouldn’t do to ensure our wedding party was incredible. They were attentive, supportive, and always willing to go the extra mile. Every request we had was met with a smile and a "can-do" attitude, making the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable for us and our guests. On top of the incredible service, we had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of celebration. The food was absolutely delicious – breakfast was great with plenty of choice (and a visit from Freddie the resident pup) and the meal from the main menu was thoroughly enjoyed, adding to the memorable experience. Big thanks to Freya who looked after us at dinner, smiled throughout and kept up with every demand! Not a thing was missed, it really was exceptional. If you’re looking for a venue that combines exceptional service with a personal touch, I highly recommend The Rose and Crown Pub and Hotel. Nicky and her team made our wedding celebration unforgettable, and we’re forever grateful for their hard work and dedication. Thank you, Nicky, Sophie, and the entire team at The Rose and Crown, for making our special day truly magical!

Lovely lunch here today. The food was fresh and delicious, definitely recommend the Chicken Shawarma wrap and the fresh pear and ginger juice! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and really made the experience. We came with a baby and they went out of their way to find us the best seat and even provided some baby snacks. Will be back!

Acabamos de visitar nuestro restaurante favorito en el pueblo de Wimbledon al que intentamos ir para nuestras ocasiones especiales. Nunca nos ha decepcionado ni la elección de la comida, el ambiente o el personal que es excelente. Una mención especial al gerente del restaurante David, que siempre nos recibe con entusiasmo y siempre tiene una sonrisa en su cara.

Not been here but I would expect a discount being a Wingfield myself. I see some Wingfield favourites have been included on the review pictures. Can't wait to visit sometime in the future

An outstanding pub. Welcoming, attractive and the food is great too. The staff are endlessly helpful, especially with checking with suitable food for allergy sufferers. Poppy was really dedicated to serving us swiftly on a busy day and couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. Andrew is an excellent host and really cares about this historic and charming pub. A fair price paid for quality food and drink. Thank you all.

Fabulous birthday brunch with a couple of girlfriends. Great atmosphere, delicious food and our lovely Romanian waiter (forgive me, I do not know his name) went above and beyond to make sure we had a super special birthday celebration. Would be amazing if Megan’s sold Cremant by the glass as I am not a huge fan of Prosecco but that aside, would highly recommend brunch in this beautifully decorated, buzzy, restaurant.

La comida era sabrosa, y el servicio era bueno. El vino era bastante caro, pero buen ambiente y el personal era agradable y amable y sin duda volvería.

£50 for rubbish, avoid. You’ll find better sandwiches and cake in the town. No gluten or diary free products so don’t bother looking at the allergy menu
