Megan's in the Village Restaurant (Wimbledon) in Merton

The food was great and well priced and our lively server was super attentive. They tea was fresh made and ambience so gentle.

A few mum friends got together for dinner. The place was beautifully decorated with warm lights and a nice cosy feeling. The starter sharer and main sharers were tasty and just perfect for us to pick and relax and enjoy the meal. The food was delicious and portions just right for us. The cocktails selection was plentiful although I didn’t really enjoy the berry gin drink very much. Service was really good, staff were friendly, attentive and not in your face. A big shout out to our lovely waitress who spoke French. I really wished I got her name, she was brilliant. Thank you for making our mums night out a special event for us.

Popped in with friends for brunch. We all ordered a variety of dishes and were quite happy with the quality and quantity of the dishes - it was very tasty and very well presented. The only slight negative was our waiter appeared to be very keen to get us to order and then, when we finished, very keen to get us to pay in the quickest time possible. There were plenty of spare tables - so, there appeared to be no real rush. We did feel rushed to get out. Overall, tasty and quaint.

I love Megan's, concept and decor. However, food quality has gone down, desserts are no longer of a high quality and probably better of going to creams or caspers where you will get brownies and cookies at a far better price and quality. Which is shocking really. They charge £1.5 for still water but didn't ask if both wanted it and the just charged double anyway. They had about five dogs in all started barking at the same time in the evening. It was annoying and uncomfortable. Plus alot of dog people don't seem to care about their dogs manners or smell and unable to control them. Before some do good triggered unsavoury bitter human compares dogs to babies, they aren't the same. Babies aren't unhygienic shedding fur all over the place where people can have allergies. Can you remove the dog allowance and make a section for dogs or only weekdays until 3 or something. That along with the awful dessert menu and poor quality food, I'd be surprised if Megans lasts for many years to come.

Our experience at Megan’s in Wimbledon Village was pretty awesome. The food was incredibly delicious and the service we received from Taylor was fantastic. Taylor was polite, knowledgeable and super friendly. We will be back!

Fabulous dinner, extremely friendly and attentive staff, food excellent, we love this place! It has the perfect atmosphere relaxed enough for a casual Sunday family dinner (which this was) but also special enough for a bigger celebration or special occasion.

It’s a very average place and the service was no good. We had to keep calling the server and they kept avoiding us. Eventually we had to get up and place a. Extra order of chips ourselves. The Turkish breakfast was useless - no chilli oil on the eggs, poached eggs were hard boiled balls - all in all I think it was really overpriced for VERY average meal. Posh lamb and chicken shawarma were better but nothing to talk about.

To be fair to this place, the food is brilliant and the staff are lovely and friendly. But if I had to pick a fault. The service can be quite slow. But not enough to put us off coming back. We have been back twice, and the food is great if only slightly overpriced, but it is in wimbledon, so it's understandable. We will be back again, I just wish the staff would get a little more efficient. it could be a real top place to go.

Have visited another Megan’s for brunch and really enjoyed it so thought we’d try the evening menu. Cocktails are yummy. Had cheese fondue as a starter which was huge, filling and tasty but which took ages to be served - the staff did apologise though....
