Rose & Crown (Hotel) in Merton

We have stayed numerous times at The Rose & Crown and are never disappointed. We love the location with The Village on the doorstep, fabulous staff, a buzzy atmosphere befitting of a village pub, creative and delicious food and very comfortable large beds. Thank you Nicky and all the team.

This place was fabulous and I really loved it - and I don't say that often. First time in years that a hotel has exceeded my expectations. The staff are great, the rooms are excellent and the food is good. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely stay again.

The Rose and Crown in Wimbledon is a warm and welcoming place to stay in Wimbledon Village. It is in the perfect location, close to shops, restaurants, and the bus stop. The rooms have all you need, the staff are excellent and the pub is a great place to grab a drink or a bite. I have stayed many times and have never been disappointed.

Just completed an outstanding 4-night stay at the R&C. Great rooms, service, food, location at a very reasonable price. Love the proximity to green spaces like Wimbledon Common, Richmond Park, and Kew Gardens. Very country feel w farmers market across the street on Sunday, shops / restaurants / pubs and a horse stable nearby. 15 min walk to the tube - another 20-30 mins to all points in Central London. Perfect stay if you want to stay outside the chaos of Central London - but still have access to everything the city has to offer (including Craven Cottage 😃)

We had family over from the US & so we booked a Sunday roast (15 people) and a room for my cousin. The lunch was absolutely perfect, the staff are all amazing, especially Jess who really looked after us. We can’t wait to come back soon. Actually tried last night but of course it’s always full. Favourite pub in the village!

We love staying here . We’ve stayed many times and it never disappoints . Nicky runs a brilliant pub . Her staff throughout the hotel are all excellent and super friendly . Nothing is too much trouble for any of them . We would never stay anywhere else and highly recommend it to all . The rooms are very comfortable and modern and it is a perfect place for a catch-up after work or for a special celebration.

Fabulous location in the heart of the village. On site parking too.

Faye and her team were friendly, taking time for all the little details during evening dinner, adding extras and taking away ingredients we did not want, couldnt do enough for us at breakfast, bringing coffees and teas outside for us when chilling after eating. 100% will return, the air con room kept us chilled on one of the hottest days of the year. Even cleaners said good morning as we past. Love this place ******

Highly recommend Rose & Crown in Wimbledon Village! It was an amazing experience to visit during the Championships round the corner, how lucky was I to even get the table! Watched the match on the screen, had a wonderful meal and the venue is just perfect 💙 Salmon fishcake starter was the best, I am glad I chose this beautiful place for lunch and a pint of Pimms 💙 Thanks again and good luck ☆☆☆☆☆

Wonderful experience. Great Bar and Breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to the tennis courts. If ever visits, will stay here. Small and attentive.

Lovely little hotel. The staff are so friendly, rooms are spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Lovely location not far from Wimbledon High Street. Highly recommend.

I have stayed at the Rose and Crown, Wimbledon several times, and have always enjoyed my stay. I stayed 8 nights for business last week. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and breakfast each morning was delicious. Suggestions for making things even better 1. A microwave usable to guests (went to the kitchen, but hate to bother them when they are busy) 2. A stronger wifi network only for hotel guests (not bad currently, but not always strong, and must re-login each day) 3. A safe box in the room (the rooms seem safe, but just in case) 4. New soap/shampoo dispensers (didn't seem to pump well) Those were small things that did not take away from a very comfortable business stay!

Really enjoyed our visit and meal there.Food was very tasty and a real joy! Service was sooo good and we all very much appreciated the staff's professionalism and friendliness.

Fabulous gorgeous pub hotel. Immaculately clean. Friendly helpful relaxed service . Unbelievable location and gorgeous pub garden with candies twinkly lights blankets and heaters. Breakfast excellent. The only place to stay if you want to ve in this part of London.

A wonderful place to stay in a great location. The staff went above & beyond. The good sized room was bright, airy and very modern, with comfortable beds. Delicious food, and great value for money. Highly recommend & will definitely be back again! 10 out of 10 from us 😁

I had a good night's sleep in a quiet room. Ground floor rooms available (perfect as I have trouble with stairs) Very friendly staff. I forgot my phone charger but they were able to find one that fitted my ancient flip phone. They make a great oat milk hot chocolate too! Very close to boutique shops and not far from the Ivy. Also near an art gallery where I am currently exhibiting so excellent all round!

Top to bottom this venue was outstanding! Friendly staff who knew your name. Extremely attentive and capable staff. Pub and restaurant were always a-buzz with high clientele. Mad our visit to Wimbledon fantastic!

Exceptional hotel. Really well-appointed rooms, and incredibly friendly and helpful service. Nicely located in Wimbledon Village, and part of one of the nicest, old pubs in the Village. The Rose and Crown will be my place of choice when staying in London in the future.

Staff were so so nice. The room was lovely. The bed very comfy. Tea and coffee provided was of a good quality. Bathroom had lovely smelliest. Breakfast was so so nice. The place is well situated for New Wimbledon theatre. Definitely recommend
