Bill's Restaurant - Wimbledon in Merton

Great service and food. We came for brunch and had the Bills Big Brunch; we’d asked for our eggs to be over easy but soft and when they weren’t they cooked fresh eggs for us without hesitation.

It was so loud we had to leave. Background music was loud, people talking loudly unnecessarily loudly at table next to us. Moved to another table. Waitress told us it was booked and offered us an uncomfortable high top. Table had no reservation sign on it & wasn’t in special place plus there were other tables for 4 available. It was clearly because we were two and not four she wouldn’t let us have table and was perfectly happy when we said we’d leave then.

Delicious breakfast as always and top notch service from charming Joe! Always a pleasure! Food great, restaurant clean and ambience great!

Despite the restaurant being empty food was slow coming out, and when it did it was stone cold. Bill's used to be good but has definitely declined into an overpriced, below-par restaurant. No longer recommend. Go somewhere else.

There was 10 of us celebrating my birthday on Thursday night and we had a great time. Our waiter Daniel was excellent, he couldn’t do enough for us and made me (birthday girl) feel special, he definitely made our night enjoyable and fun and I would give him 10 out of 10 excellent. I also have to give a shout out for the donuts, delicious.

The food was delicious but not hot. The coffee was like warm. The ingredients are all there for a really great place for breakfast/brunch, but food served cold took a couple of points off. The service was a bit robotic.

This restaurant is one of my favourites! The vegetarian options are delicious. The dirty vegan burger is one of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. A bit awkward to eat but worth the effort. The waiting Staff are always friendly and attentive.

Well done Bill's what a smart idea you had to earn money for nothing, go cashless, add 12.5% service charge and only let staff keep cash tips kudos to you for ripping off your customers and service staff. Had always enjoyed visiting Bill's with my family but after most recent visit we won't be returning. Service was good although staff seem very busy and not very happy(I wonder why?!) Food was mediocre. We waited over 40 minutes between courses, halloumi and olives were good, had to wait for the steak to be recooked as although kitchen was aware of an allergy a mistake was made, so again another 15 minute wait whilst everybody else had their food. Houmous with no garlic, and carrots literally laying in it and a raw burger! Manager did comp the burger and cheese, least he could do really. All in all not the greatest experience but to then realise the optional SERVICE charge is not even split between the service staff absolute joke. You will lose good staff and loyal customers with these kind of policies and poor dining experiences.

Enjoyed a fantastic breakfast here. And I absolutely love the cosy yet spacious atmosphere.

The vegan Moroccan chicken burger was so good

Very accommodating considering we rocked up on a Saturday night, with a varied menu for a wide variety of diets. Slightly disappointed that the BBQ Bourbon Burger didn't taste like it was actually from the BBQ, and I think it should have come with a side of BBQ sauce, but overall a good 3-course meal

Niki and Norbi were the best waitresses in my whole holiday! They were so kind and super. The food was great, the dining was amazing! 👌🏼

I had the loveliest time when having lunch at Bill's. The food wasn't expensive and incredibly nice!! The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were so nice. Especially Owen who was so kind and full of energy, such a nice person and made us feel so welcome.

We attended our social club's Xmas Dinner here. I was impressed management gave us a glass of bubbles each. The staff were excellent and the atmosphere was really good. The Turkey was rolled meat with stuffing in the middle. Decent value for money for 2/ 3 courses.

An exhilaratingly cozy mood and delightfully rich meal left us STUFFED AND CHUFFED.

All I can say is wow food what lovely Toulets could have been better but brilliant lovely waiter called Owen offered to cover our drinks which he ended up doing up Highly recommended

Delicious food, fast and professional service and a fabulous atmosphere that makes you not want to leave

I was treated badly in this restaurant and felt like being discriminated. When I asked if I can take the seat by the window, the lady just signaled me to the seat she picked without telling me why she refused my request. And no thank you no goodbye. Fine, it was my last meal in the UK and it was definitely terrible.

The salmon muffins for breakfast was lovely and flavoursome. The wait time for food was reasonable. Teapot was missing the tea but that was quickly rectified. Got quite busy fairly quickly on a Saturday morning. Friendly staff.

I was in London with a friend for a week and we had breakfast there many days. Service was very king and polite and food was delicious. Our staying in London had some issues but this was not one of them. Beautiful place!

Never been before, tried it for a family birthday, the decor is attractive, atmosphere was ambient, service was good but the food was nothing more than average and honestly found the prices are higher than they should be - this is in comparison to many other restaurants/ cuisines we have endulged in over many years!

It was too noisy but the food was good!

Was greeted immediately by a member of staff and seated at a lovely table. The fried Aubergine was delicious, the "Dirty Vegan burger" was possibly the best I've ever had and the Salted caramel tart with coconut icecream was superb, although I was left waiting a good 10 minutes after finishing my main before ordering dessert from the manager as the waitress seemed to have forgotten about me (and it wasn't even busy). Despite the wait, I will most definitely return as the food was well worth the wait and reasonable price. @Adamakingithappen

I've been coming to this bills for about 10 years, it's a real failsafe option when in Wimbledon. At weekends there is a queue but don't let that put you off as the last two weekends we queued and were seated right away. Today I went with a friend for a hangover cure, the restaurant attracts families and small children but it never really gets noticeably noisy or chaotic. I had the vegan burger which is delicious but it is an absolute nightmare to eat with your hands even if you cut it. So messy! Makes it quite stressful. The rosemary fries are total perfection though. I also liked the spiced labneh, my first time trying labneh, it was scrumptious - I would have happily paid a pound or two more for a better amount of flatbread though, you end up with leftover labneh and nothing to dip into it with. We spent about 22 quid each. I would love to try the bottomless pancakes offer some time. The staff are friendly and always on the go seeing to customers, and service is a good speed. I always feel the branding of bills is a bit all over the place since the rebrand and nothing feels cohesive, something always feels slightly off to me ambience wise

It’s not often I give a 5 star review. Bills has certainly not in the past been a worthy recipient. I’ve had less than adequate food experiences there ( not this branch, which is always good) which I chalk up to eating, not dining in a chain restaurant. I digress. I came with my adult grandson. The server was charming, and genuinely helpful and very upbeat. Yes, she tried to upsell a couple of items but in the circumstances so would I! I had the set £15.95 2 course menu. The calamari was excellent and nicely presented. I wanted an extra hot 1 shot latte and I got it. I had the burger with fries and salad. It was excellent, Charlie had the chicken burger with a side of mac n’ cheese. Also excellent, both were hot and fresh, the extra mayo and avocado wasn’t forgotten and drinks replenished. We even got iced tap water, that doesn’t happen often. There was absolutely nothing that could have bettered the lunch, so well done everyone at Bills, especially our server.

Great for lunch with the added bonus of blue light discount. Only disappointment is not enough cheese for fondue! Should be in a dish instead of in a bread roll.

Visited here while staying down the road with my son for half-term. I really wanted a glass of wine so I asked if they had any vegan wine… server went to check - no they don’t apparently. Had been instead which wasn’t what I wanted. Then heard a different server telling a customer that there is an allergen app and that let me to check online and apparently they DO have vegan wine, several of them! Train your staff properly. I went away really disappointed! That, and the meal was average too, such a let down.

We have had breakfast in Bills wimbledon the last few days during our stay there, Julieta has been great everyday, very efficient, helpful, and always nice and lovely!

Food and atmosphere pretty good, but service quite slow resulting in some meals being cold. Our table was in a corner and kept being forgotten - we had to find someone to take our order, then find someone to bring the bill, and find someone to take payment. A little effort would have gone long way to making this a better experience

Staff really friendly. Food delicious. Nice vibe. We all ordered schawarmas (veggie or chicken) and they were lovely. Even had room for the small donuts and coffee which were divine!
