BEST FISH AND CHIPS. Ohhh and the BEST CURRY SAUCE Always consistent . Nice eat in area, staff are always friendly, and so are the customers. Good vibe.

Staff not friendly, and not open to any negative comments, even when they have made a mistake. Food is okay, but nothing special; they have a monopoly in the area for Fish & Chips.

Went for there Saturday 17th of August and watched 5 other customers being served their food before me even though I placed and paid for my order first. Can the owner of this shop please post a picture of a large cod and small cod…..the reality to me is they are treating customers with contempt.

The ingredients are fresh and delicious; the fish is full of flavor; the French fries are fresh and full. Hot enough and very tasty. The price is fair. The store manager is kind and friendly

Definitely would recommend this place. The food was piping hot and very fresh. I ate in and received my food very quickly. The chips were soft but crispy and the savaloy was perfect. Will make sure to come back.

Staff were nice but the food was disgusting. Chips were severely under cooked and still hard. Coke was warm. Mayonnaise was off and out of date and the scampi was watery as hell. My partner had fish cake which over cooked to the point the breadcrumbs were hard.Will never eat there again.

Hello ; First of all, employees in a restaurant should be polite, polite and professional. *Today I ordered a large fish and chips diet coke and salad takeway from here. *They took payments from me 3 times separately. I always bought food from here. 3 pounds more than the price I bought it for. Moreover, I asked them why you asked me to pay separately each time. *They said my order was wrong and took extra money. I told them to check the CCTV records. (Order time 16:43) It shows which order I placed 10-15 minutes ago. Instead of correcting their own mistakes, they tried to prove me wrong. An employee may make a mistake, but he or she must correct it immediately by speaking professionally and nicely. Talking and dialogues with the customer are important. I will never go to this bad place again *They are so indifferent and careless that they didn't even put a washcloth to wipe your hands in the package you received your takeaway order from.

As someone who frequently buys fish and chips I was shocked and appalled when I asked to use there toilet and was refused as I did not purchase anything baring in mind I’m 5 months pregnant. I will not be a customer anymore

Fish looked off colour - didn’t eat anymore just in case it made me ill. Would have taken it back but too fat to walk. Been using this Fish shop for years but O won’t buy fish in there again. The chips were nice, but the pickled onion was too hard and I buy them all the time.

Skippers by far the best fish shop around. Regularly bring international guests to here to have proper fish and chips.

Found Skippers just by chance. Friendly and efficient staff with great food. We had a mixture of fish cake, large fish and chips. Really faultless.

The chips and curry sauce were absolutely beautiful, however, the two savoly sausage were not edible they were very hard and sooo dry bit annoyed as payed nearly £5 for 2 sausages that we couldn't eat.

I ordered 2 large Fish & Chips, paid £22 when I got home the cod that I to my surprise I found that I had 2 large fish fingers. I only went to this fish & chip shop because mine is closed for the six holidays. Not good value for your money.

I ordered 2 large Fish & Chips which cost £22, when I got home I was shocked at how small the cod was. It was like having 2 large fish fingers. Not good value for money at all. If you order LARGE COD that’s what you should get. I’ve never been so disappointed and had such a small cod in my life. On the positive it was freshly made.

While the food was ok, it was a bit pricey. It is a big place with very few customers (on a Friday night). Although friendly service the area to eat felt a bit cold and clinical. I had an OAP portion which I thought meant a discount but it turned out half size. My friend liked the batter and got lots of chips which he gave to me as I needed them. So don't buy the OAP unless you want a half size kids portion for 75% of the adult cost. Chips were really good so just buy that. However there are many items on the menu.

Nice that you can get to sit in and eat, although can be quite cramped. The best curry sauce for chips and my son loves their cod bites, perfect size for smaller people.

Very good food at an affordable price

I ordered large fish and normal portion of chips. The size of the large fish was smaller than their normal size portion of fish. Also, in the week I ordered chips which appeared to be reheated from earlier in the day. However, a friend bought a portion of standard size fish and chips and they are definitely what I would call large portions Definitely the products supplied and portion size have changed are not as good as when I first started going to the chip shop over 5 years ago.

Good fish and chips to try. But I paid £10.60 for large fish and large chips. Quite expensive, considering the portion size.

Card merchants have asked that you do not set a minimum or maximum card limit. You are not charged in same way any longer. All shops stopped minimucard payments more than 2 years ago.

Good fish and chips, and the chips are always crispy and fresh. They also offer ketchup, mayo and tartar sauce for a small price if you like it as well. If you like pickled eggs or pickled onions you can order those on the side. Staff are always nice and friendly and quick to prepare your order.

visited on Tuesday 16th the batter on the cod pure soggy instead of being crispy no apology from the staff we've been going to this shop for 10 years very disappointed won't be going back for a while

We ate - in and enjoyed the haddock and chips plus fish cakes and chips with mushy peas. The food was well prepared and cooked through without floating in grease. My wife and l go there often. I recommend this fish and chip shop very highly.

This is the sort of classic Fish and Chip shop that you always dream about. Great fresh fish and batter that melts in the mouth. The portions were superb and as we are patrons of the local Community Centre we shall be running a Quiz and Fish and Chip night and Skippers will be supplying us 20 portions. WE LOVE IT!!!!

Not much seating, so better for take away. But they are the best for miles around. The curry chips are my favourite item and are in a gorgeous Chinese style curry sauce. Just yummy!

I use to use skippers all the time but now I refuse to use them the fish is grey and horrible n the staff are miserable

Opted to eat in on this ocassion: didn't not check the terms and conditions of the nearby carpark 🙄🙄🙄 Waited too long to be served at the table ... Incurred a CPN Time spent in carpark 2: 20 minutes The night out ended up costing in excess of £70 That is very expensive for a fish supper With two desserts And soft drinks 🤔😲😉

Skippers is a small, slightly tired looking fish and chip restaurant, selling the best fish and chips in Mitcham. The food is fresh and hot, with good staff. Would recommend.

i usually manage to get here on a Friday for Cod n ChipsBit more expensive than other chippies in the area but the food is always very good and i dont have left on my plate after meal, this includes the uneadible chips you get from a lot of chippies.Highly recomended.Tony
