There was a small selection of cakes pastries, soups, hot and cold beverages. The food area looks quite clean likewise the staff look presentable and friendly.

This was a visit to the cafe whilst waiting for the Agatha Christie play "Witness for the Prosecution". It is based next to the front door on Belvedere Road side rather the Westminster Bridge Road side of County Hall.
It has a large area and many tables for customers and a decent choice of hot and cold drinks and snacks, but hot food is available. The cakes are large and the hot drinks come in large cups and mugs. This is a good cafe with decent prices and are value for money.
Full narks as this long-established restaurant keeps the atmophere and excellent food going even when road works going on outside! Not noticeable at night anyway and some nights they havs live music of a smooth jazzy nature. A favourite calm and grown-up place for me and my friends to meet up
Was put off the food by sub-par reviews and the fact the restaurant smells like a canteen. However wanted the view of father Thames, so opted for drinks. An extremely average mescal margarita and Prosecco cost £36. For that eye watering price point, you get no bar nibbles or service. Nobody came to table after the order and a member of staff I spoke to couldn’t have seemed less bothered. Very poor.
Underbar service! Restaurang chefen kom personligen och tog emot order för allergin, och serverade även maten personligen. Maten lagades av kökets chef!
Ok... maybe an Italian shouldn't have a cappuccino 🥛 in London! 😅
Drinks aside, Prêt à manger in Waterloo offers a wide selection of pastries and cakes for breakfast. The croissants are good 🥐 as are other pastries 🧇.
The place is quite large and offers various seats. Prices are average. A cappuccino and croissant breakfast is around £8.
