Pret a Manger in Lambeth

Good coffee price! They ran out of the special prices but gave me an alternative for the same price. Unisex washrooms with a code on the door which you get at the front. Lots of seating. Comfortable.

Poor recent experience which is a shame as at most Prets I've visited service is satisfying and efficient. The lady in the light blue scarf checked my order and I was waiting for about 20minutes. She seemed forgot my order and I had a next schedule so I asked her about my order. She said “Ohhh! Are you still waiting? You should remind me!!” to me in angry accent. Is that my fault? Why did she blame me? She gave me the food as if she was throwing it at me, then disappeared without any apologises. Because of her, I had to start my morning in the worst possible way.

I got a surprise bag that included 2 pastries and a porridge for just 3£. I don’t like boiled grains, so the taste wasn’t for me, but that's just my preference. The staff were kind and quickly prepared it for me. Additionally, I tried to get a white filter with almond milk, but the staff politely informed me they didn’t have it and offered coconut milk as an alternative. The atmosphere inside was great—cozy, with plenty of available seats, and very clean. I’d love to go again. Additional Review; I often go to this Pret after that visit, and it’s always a good place. One day, the surprise bag contained hot tomato soup, so it’s not just boiled grains.

We checked in early in the Marlin Waterloo next to this location and walked in for a quick breakfast. The people service us were so nice. My toddler wanted to eat an apple and they don't usually cut apples but they ended up helping us. The place has ample place to sit and relax for a bit.

Pret A Mangerò is a brilliant intuition. - widespread throughout Great Britain - excellent quality of food - ideal for those with children because it allows you to have what you need with excellent quality and low prices. - excellent place to rest during visits because it has bathrooms, free water, tables to welcome families, fruit "by the piece" - self service without the hassle of the waiter - foods for the little ones - also excellent for breakfast in the morning - I recommend the hot sandwich with ham and cheese - I recommend the "macaroni" with. One of the nicest pret that I have ever been. There are always comfy seats here. I've also noticed staffs cleaning and wiping tables as soon as customers leave.

Rude staff, toilet is disgusting. Food is ok but overpriced when you eat in, you pay extra for service but don't get any service.

Yeonju, Loriana and Tsata are amazing. Always greet myself and customers with a huge smile and very professional 🙂🙂. They always remember me and serve my take away coffee with my white lid to get on my bike. Thank you ladies. Amelia

Just met a member of staff for a coffee. It was nice enough.

| recently visited Pret a Manger on Westminster Bridge Road, and I had a bit of a mixed experience. All other sraffs were really nice , but there was one guy who didn't seem to want to accommodate my simple request for less ice in my drink. I didn't understand why he couldn't make it with less ice, and he didn't give me an explanation. It's really confusing why he couldn't do that .I expect he should be nice in his way of talking and should definitely respect the customer's request, especially when it's something as simple as removing some ice as I use to get the same drink with less ice from the same store . Overall, it was a bit disappointing, I apologise if I was wrong to ask for such a request. Cheers…

One of the male employees ( see photo) swept my shoes using the broom multiple times, it’s hard to believe that he actually need to sweep peoples shoes like that😅hard to say it’s not intentional, I guess sweep floor no need to be trained isn’t it:)

I like all things in pret food, services, staffs, I give them 5 star but the shop closes so early so I give 1 star . Why you guys closes the shop so early, if you have shortage of staffs hire some guys.

Easy to miss the entrance, but once inside it has a roomy and much more open feel than expected. Plenty of seating and quieter than the one up the road opposite the Old Vic.

We went just 20 minutes before closing time, we finished our snack and we're just about to finish our cofee, but we had to leave the place in a hurry because they started saying aloud that they are closing and we need to leave immediately, in a hurry we forgot to take our hat which we recently bought it on our trip to UK, we rushed back to the place but it was locked, of course the staff did open the door and he searched for the hat but it's not there. Had they given us just a minute or two we would have gone peacefully. Out of our experience with your outlets we find the one on Vauxhall bridge road, close to pimlico groceries shop is more customer friendly. My only request from customer service point is Do not chase away the people who are just finishing up. Best wishes. From Chennai South India

Wanted to get the “ bring a friend once a week for a coffee deal” and the team member ( believe it was the manager ) didn’t knew how it’s supposed to work, she said to send an email; like to whom? Her colleague said they can do it on the same subscription, she was saying no , a lot of contradictions and rushed customer service, eventually I was forced to make a new purchase even dough I have a ongoing subscription.

To whom it may concern : I come everyday to this cafe as I prefer to have a coffee and some food . Morning as well as lunch time I came a few min ago 11:15 am . I asked for a coffee and the guy behind the counter said to me “ coffee will take 10 mins “ There were three people who have been served already and they were waiting , I was the only one who asked for the order at the time . I checked orders on the screen and were about 2 and me the third . The guy who makes the coffee . Makes mine in less than a min . And he hand it to me . The guy who took the order gave him a weird look !!!!! If they don’t want us to come then simply say ( we don’t want you to come ) I am always polite and respectful as I am aware they work hard and at some points are super busy . But today was none . If could you please check on this . There’s no such a 10 mins waiting a coffee in pret . I used to have my coffee in the one close to Bond Street station and 3 times busier than this and always my coffee comes max of 5 mins when there are at least 6 before me .

The pret staff in this location are always looking unhappy not sure why.

They have nothing. No ice l, no vegan options. I don't know why they exist there as there another bigger one bery close to it.

Very nice place to do work, with a surprising amount of seats (some tucked away behind a wall !). Toilets are keycoded and there are no smoothies or milkshakes available. The staff seem friendly and it was quite quiet after lunch.

They hardly open on time. Maybe should change their opening time to 9am

They dont serve freppe but it was listed in the online menu that they serve freppe. I walked all the way from waterloo station and atlast found this. Its bad. Atleast they shouldnot mention the things they dont serve. Shame on pret

Came here for a coffee twice during a short stay in the area - staff were friendly and welcoming, plenty of seating area, clean and tidy and great selection of sandwiches, salads and pastries! My fav Pret in London so far!

Omg i never seen a rude staffs like this branch the white ladies they dont care about customers and they are buzy by talking each other, the guy who served in frontline he never checked the customers u need to ask to serv you, they all don't care u need to wait in the queue more than 10min to be served they are not clever and fast anyway everyday when i going i got headace please make them active and responsible am realy sad by there weak service

Nourriture fraîche et très bonne, comme dans tous les Prêt à Manger, mais également comme dans tous les Prêt à Manger, c’est un peu cher, même pour la qualité des produits. Le personnel n’était pas très agréable le jour de mon passage.

Was sat down, minding my own business, having soup and a sandwich. Someway off from finishing then one of the staff said can you move, I need to clean. Seriously, haven’t you got the decency to wait until the customer is finished. I think time for some customer care training

Slow ordered 4 coffees got 3 waited another 10 minutes for the last 1 cause they don't complete 1 order at a time and jump from 1 to another it's chaos

AVOID! If I could give zero stars I would! The manager is awful, gets your order wrong then complains about YOU. Has not sense of customer service. Have seen him attempt discourage customers an HOUR before the shop closes. The list goes on. I have been a manager at a coffee shop for YEARS, this is simply not how you act regardless of how busy it is etc. There's a million other prets in this city, I encourage you to go to literally ANY OTHER STORE

Menu the same as every other pret but staff here were rude and customer service was terrible. Clearly don't csre about the place or the customers, just trying to get through another shift and get out of there

Weekday staff are lovely, very fast and hold a high standard. Sunday staff, not so much.

Trying to get a cup of tea in the aftenoon is a real challenge. After waiting 10min I have been told that I have to wait another 5-10min. How difficult is to make a cup of tea? Hot water & a bag of tea.... I have to give up the tea to catch my train.

Friendly staff, barista knows my order now

I've always liked the friendly staff, freshly made food and their ethical approach to food waste, handing out food to the homeless. But... and here's the but. Increasing the filter coffee price from 89p to £1.25 is a stretch for those of us who love coffee but don't want to be staring at the ceiling come 2am. 🤯

Lovely clean cafe. Extensive menu with sandwiches, fruit and pastries. Very expensive.

Great coffee and great service expect to queue for a bit because of the £20 unlimited coffee offer so please bare in mind that there are people working behind the counter and be nice to them!

The baristas are friendly and welcoming. One star list as the range of excellent products isn't always as good as I would expect.

I paid for my item, but 1 minute later while I was waiting for a drink the same staff insisted that I did not pay and almost forced me to pay again. I had to stand there and showed him the bank transaction on my phone. He finally let me go and seemed extremely unhappy and grumpy for not successfully double charging me. Most importantly, there was NO apologies. For the record this same staff member also seems to have terrible attitude for other customers of colors. Shame on him.

Clean tidy and with this crazy world now, it's not overly busy. There is a couple of staff who are friendly but another couple who aren't as welcoming.

Questa catena la troverete ovunque a Londra. Noi ci siamo fermati al Pret a manger nei pressi di London eye/ Big Ben per pranzo durante il nostro giro a londra . Ci si serve autonomamente prendendo i panini e bibite dal frigo e si va direttamente alla cassa. E' presente un'ampia scelta di panini. E' possibile sedersi nei tavolini fuori (clima permettendo ) oppure all'interno. Lo consiglio per una sosta veloce

Preis ok, aber sie waren absolut überfordert mit so vielen Kunden. Zudem hatten sie kaum eine Auswahl an Croissants etc.

Come tutti i Pret a manger. Ci si prende da soli quello che si vuole si va alla cassa se si vuole una bibita calda la si ordina li si paga ci si siede e si consuma. Rapido ed economico con i rapporti umani ridotti all'indispensabile come il mondo moderno vuole.

Very nice café, quite and clean, highly recommend for snack or a tea.

This hangs in all Prets at the moment in London, but 8 out of 10 I walk into and ask, do not have the whipped cream. Price is included so even without it, they would charge £3,-

One of the bigger Prets, located just south of Westminster Bridge (5 mins max), so if you want a coffee and a snack, but the places nearer the river are busy, then just walk south a bit to this less busy Pret. Nice pastries and cakes, and Archbishop's Park is just a short stroll if you prefer your coffee outside, although large comfy seating and table area available in-store.

People work there they don’t care... it’s a toasted baguette, and asked if it want it toasted. Gave it back to me without wrapping it back properly, everything fell out in the paper bag. The photo is the baguette after I put al the fillings back ! Terrible service.

5 stars for what it offers. Great quality and fresh pre packaged food, a variety of hot drinks and pastries. I had breakfast there like 3 days while in London. Have vegan options as well. Friendly staff and spacious place

This branch does such a horrible job at serving u within 2 min! there is always 10 people in line mornings w/ 3 people behind the counter and only 1 serving clients! I actually saw the manager pass by his team member and not jump in to support him w queue. Let me know when u sort yourself up to pret standards otherwise will get off at Elephant to get my pret from now on. U r unreliable. Plus u took out the eggs and tomatoes option in mornings.
