For starters the guys working there were super nice and kind, and the food was absolutely amazing!! The onion rings were the absolute best of my life! I really recommend

Food is really tasty but it’s a shame that they don’t serve pasta for dinner
Update: tried the lunch menu and the pasta was very tasty, talked with owner and they seem to consider to provide pasta for dinner
My wife and daughter went to Mimosa today, as they always do when in Kingston. The panini, the wines and the coffees are excellent and great value. I used to stop at Mimosa when I stopped for food and coffee after a long Sunday morning bike ride. Unfortunately I can’t cycle any more but I’ll still go to Mimosa when I’m Christmas shopping.
It’s a gem.
A small but very friendly place. I am fussy eater. I have a tuna melt. Perfect .I came back for lunch the whole week. I love my coffee having my own machine and watch people on how they make it. Every step in the process was how I was trained. Beautiful espresso.
These are the best vegan burgers and believe me we have sampled many good ones!
Choice of beetroot chick pea masala or mushroom (our favourite) please do more often. Accompanied with beautiful salads - love it!
There is also a lovely curry option on the hot plate.
We'd tried Incognito in Winchester and loved it soo much we couldn't wait to try Chadwick's London counterparts.
We started downstairs which is Chadwick's home of Zoology for a drink before heading upstairs to Incognito.
The drinks at Chadwick's are beautiful and this bar has a more nature/natural type vibe. While the cocktails are beautiful and nice-think edible flours and lots of fruit flavours/infusions they are not the OTT, ultra extravagance of Incognito.
Tucked away upstairs in the antique centre this cafe is worth seeking out. Food was lovely. I had the soup which was very tasty, piping hot and a generous portion. Customer service excellent. Shame I am not a local would love to return.

During my recent stay at Travelodge, I had the pleasure of encountering an exceptional staff member named Waqar in the restaurant. His commitment to providing outstanding service was truly remarkable. Waqar's attentiveness and friendly demeanor made every dining experience enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met, making personalized recommendations and accommodating special requests. His professionalism and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly commendable. Travelodge is fortunate to have such a valuable team member like Waqar, and his exceptional service added an extra layer of excellence to my stay.
delicious traditional Vietnamese cuisine, was surprised at not only the quality but also the portion size, my wife is vegetarian so there was plenty of options for her too

I've used the small street food outlet located in Kingston upon Thames twice in a week. First impression is a homely atmosphere but I didn't eat inside so can't comment. The food really does look like homemade dishes. I trialled the place by using the: Too Good to go app (NB this is a genuine review, i.e. I'm not getting paid by anyone or any business! The app allows you to choose an outlet that has extra food that they might throw, instead you can order via the app for a 'surprise'* bag for a reduced cost. *You will not know what you'll get. NB if you have any allergies, check first before ordering as you might receive something you've paid for but can't eat :/)
We paid £6 for a:
small, tall pot of red lentil soup,
a larger pot of liver and potato dish and
a very delicious similar size pot of a potato, chicken and cheese dish (a bit like shepherd's pie but with chicken pieces instead of mince beef/lamb).
It's interesting that they make organ meat, i.e. liver which is a good high protein meat for most people.
But what about vegans and vegetarians?
They make a tasty aubergine and tomato dish (and their default, red lentil soup) but note, there is a lot of oil in the dish which I would suggest to drain out before eating. When home, we made some fresh basmati rice and added the ordered dishes. It was a good-sized, hearty meal.
TIP make/buy some basmati rice (its got to be basmati!) /quinoa/naan/ pitta bread/ gluten free breads/ couscous etc to eat with these dishes to make a meal of it. Two adults will be able to have a good size meal if you do this; with a little bit left for the next day's breakfast ;)
NB I do not know if they do other non-meat dishes so, best to check their website.
