Lallapolosa Baking Company in Kingston upon Thames

A small but very friendly place. I am fussy eater. I have a tuna melt. Perfect .I came back for lunch the whole week. I love my coffee having my own machine and watch people on how they make it. Every step in the process was how I was trained. Beautiful espresso.

Great coffee, home made delicious cakes, and really friendly staff. We try sausage roll, chicken bacon mayo sandwich, guiness cake and brownie. They were all so delicious

amazing and friendly service! Cakes were delicious, especially the Guinness one. Had my daughters birthday party here and Elyse was amazing with all the girls and kept them all entertained. She was so patient and friendly.

Happened to be passing and stopped for a coffee - this place is amazing - wonderful smell of chocolate wafting from the ovens and had a fantastic croque monsieur followed by carrot and orange cake. Friendly service and we sat outside in the sun and thoroughly enjoyed the food and coffee. Will definitely be back and would recommend a visit.

We ordered a vegan Oreo cake for my son’s 19th birthday.. It was absolutely delicious! The non vegan guests loved it too (you couldn’t tell it was vegan). We’ve ordered other cakes from lallapolosa and never been disappointed. Highly recommend

We went brunch time on a Monday. Their sausage rolls are to die for and their cakes are just amazing. The staff there are incredibly friendly and obviously fantastic at their job. Definitely making this a regular pit stop for coffee and cake. Just want to try their lunches now! Go.

I just wanted to have a little treat to boost my mood and this little shop made my day. I wasn’t expecting such a tasty and light flavour and the staff is just lovely. I’m new in the neighborhood and I’ll be going back for one or three more treats tomorrow.

I have recently moved to the area and was keen to find my local bakery/coffee shop in a bid to support local, but also explore the local community. To my surprise at the end of my road there was a cute, quaint little shop. I went inside and was greeted by a plethora of goodies, from freshly baked bread, cakes & savouries. I couldn’t decide what to buy so ended up with a slice of Black Forest Gatteau, Chocolate Banana bread and a Lemon & Blueberry sponge, topped off with a nice, strong flat white all for under £10! The staff were incredibly welcoming and engaging, despite the difficulties experienced during lockdowns. I liked the store so much I went back the following morning for another coffee and a loaf of freshly baked, organic sourdough bloomer. I will continue to go frequently, perhaps not daily or else I’ll end up the size of a house!

Latifa and the team made the most amazing birthday cake for my husbands lockdown birthday. They pay so much care and attention. I can’t recommend enough! Also be sure to try their coffee and cookies 🍪

Just stopped for coffee but was tempted by the pizza slices being prepared so stopped for a light lunch instead. Pizza slices followed by apple frangipani flan. Good wholesome fresh food lovingly prepared.

One of those local back street cafes that freshly bake lots of lovely croissants, chocolate brownies, etc and great sandwiches and coffee too. All the staff have always been lovely, helpful and provided great services in the few years they’ve been here now.

Thank you for the vegan chocolate cake suggestion, I am so glad I ordered it. Everyone loved it. Vegan and non vegan alike!

Had a really nice experience here. Great ambience. Friendly staff. Lovely food. Amazing coffee. Had the brownies which hit spot. I’ll be a regular here.

Discovered this place whilst on a walk into Kingston with my wife and is we needed a drink we called in. I had a cappuccino and my wife had a hot chocolate which were both delicious. It was a real pity that we were not hungry as the cakes and other items on display all looked delicious. We will be coming here in the near future ti try some of the food.

I love this place - it’s a real oasis opposite the Spring Grove pub and defo worth making a visit. Run by a wife and husband and their small team the selection of goodies is pretty impressive! The cookies are a little addictive! ( we live around the corner and they have become a little habit!) and the savouries a great lunchtime find. There is a lovely small cafe space inside to sit and relax and also work - plug sockets and WiFi - I work from home sometimes and the community feel is lovely if you want a change of location for a bit - but in the recent sunny weather it’s the outside space that is so great - watching the world go by with a great coffee... ( and one of those cookies... shhh!)

Great coffee and amazing cakes/cookies/brownies! But the savouries are especially fantastic, mac and cheese pies, feta and spinach rolls and different yummy salads everyday. And a proper dry cappucino! 5 stars because there isn't an option for 6!

You haven't had a brownie until you've had a Lallapolosa one! The peanut butter brownie is to die for, with the carrot cake a close second. The cafe is tucked away but well worth a visit for the warm welcome and to grab a table outside to enjoy a coffee and a sweet treat. I'll definitely be back.

Not just for those with a sweet tooth, this little bakery-come-café is worth a detour. It’s run by a husband and wife team and is close to Kingston town centre, yet away from the hustle and bustle. There aren’t many seats inside, but, weather permitting, the outside terrace is a nice place to enjoy a coffee or some lunch. Apparently their cheese sandwich is legendary (I’ve yet to try it), but I’ll definitely return for the spinach and feta pastry, the roasted cauliflower salad and the genuine warm welcome.

I went here on my birthday for coffee and delicious smoke salmon bagel it was delicious I would highly recommend it this friendly cafe who do there baking while you eat and watch an original concept .
