These are the best vegan burgers and believe me we have sampled many good ones! Choice of beetroot chick pea masala or mushroom (our favourite) please do more often. Accompanied with beautiful salads - love it! There is also a lovely curry option on the hot plate.

This is my second visit to Little Ginger in Kingston marketplace and am so pleased I came back. The Sweetpotato and beet burger is amazing. Good for me and good for the planet - double win!

Love this place, they offer the most amazing vegan burgers and I would recommend any vegan/non vegan to try as they are truly delicious and well worth the £6! I’ll be back soon

I've been enjoying The Little Ginger's food so much for some time now - and it was the best decision to ask Emma to cater at my recent yoga retreat. Not only was the food so delicious and the feedback was insanely positive - but it was a joy to work with Emma over the weekend too. Before the retreat some of the clients were a little apprehensive to be eating fully vegan, but as soon as the first meal was served, they all loved it so much! Emma's love for food, passion for plant-based meals and her genuine and warm personality made our weekend just perfect. I hope she will be cooking for many more weekends for us!

As a huge fan of the Little Ginger burgers we were excited to go to a secret supper they ran, which included the screening of Seed: The Untold Journey. The food was fantastic - local, fresh produce put together in a thoughtful, colourful and delicious menu. I loved that they chose the film to go with it - it was a truly inspiring watch (and eat!) that has changed the way I think. The communal, friendly atmosphere also led to meeting local people and feeling more involved in the local community :) The evening spoke volumes about the ethos of Little Ginger which, alongside the tasty (all vegan) food, means I'll be back! Already looking forward to the next time xx

I am a huge fan of little ginger, if I’m ever in Kingston my favourite place to have lunch is here! I’ve tried many different dishes, curry, chilli, salads and many different types of burgers, my favourite was probably the black rice and mushroom burger. Every single meal I’ve had here has been amazing, full of flavour, so different to anything else you find around. I’d recommend little ginger to anyone who loves good, healthy food.

I came here with my wife and two children because my wife eats here for lunch during the week. I had the beetroot burger and coleslaw and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Because it’s in the market you have to find a seat in the shared area but this wasn’t a problem. If you are in Kingston upon Thames and fancy something different (and very healthy!) I strongly recommend.

The food here is wrapped up quickly so you don't really see, especially when she goes out the back. Now, I'm a mixed race woman with caribbean ancestry and I can tell you what this woman served me today was not curried chicken. It was just chicken. Her plantain was so over cooked that it was black. The rice she mixed up with jollof rice and rice and peas. The jollof is an african dish that I can't comment on as I've never had it before but the rice and peas really was just rice...and kidney beans.so disappointing!!! She said she was going to add some curry goat to my food but I refused. I should have known then that something wasn't quite right as even that looked so watery and bland. She serves it with mixed veg that you but from the shop, not even home cooked veg😳 A great example of why non carribeans should NOT cook carribean food without a carribean seal of approval. This woman is very lucky I didn't see this food until I got home. And she had the nerve to charge me almost £8 for this crap! Lots of English people seem to love her food and that's fair enough but when you know, you know. Periodt.

We really enjoyed the las iguanas restaurant. It is a great spot for a nice sit down dinner with lots of options for food and lovely and friendly staff including our server Desorah it is a cheery place with lots of spirit and personality. Me and my family rate it a 10/10 and would definitely come again.

Great independent cafe on the bank of the Thames with good selection of beers, including craft beers. Great burgers here. Conveniently located for shopping in Kingston.

A busy café serving the community around Hollyfield Road, Alexandra Drive and King Charles Road in Surbiton, but principally catering to the scores of people who use the King Charles Centre, within which it is housed. It is busiest at lunchtimes, serving slices of wholesome quiche and hot soup, but it also offers the full café range of biscuits and cakes, sandwiches, filled rolls and filled jacket potatoes. Entrance is from the car park of the centre at the corner of Hollyfield and King Charles. The café fills a second purpose; it helps people of all abilities – via adult social care – to learn how to cater, learn about food hygiene and customer service. It means you get even more attention… and words of praise for the excellent work the staff do are appreciated even more! Open Mon-Fri from 9.30am to 4pm
