The best restaurants in St Mary's Islington London

DO NOT COME HERE! There was a black women behind the till who took my order of a oat latte, i was given a latte with normal milk. I quickly noticed upon receiving my drink that it did not have the sticker label attached to prove it was oat, so I quickly told the man next to her who made me a new drink. I am lactose intolerance but this could have been fatal in a different case. Staff need to make sure they are listening properly to customers!!!

15+ years I’ve been using them. They never let me down. Food is ace and the delivery is ALWAYS early.

Always like coming here, very nice atmosphere for work, study, spending time with friends or just to have a cup of coffee ☕. Staff are friendly but service is a bit slow as only one person doing everything

Came stone cold and it wasn’t what I ordered

Recientemente visité Leicester Square y decidí comer en The Slug and Lettuce como me lo habían recomendado. El restaurante se veía bien al llegar, pero pronto me decepcionó (¡así como a muchos otros clientes, parece!) Después de ordenar y recibir bebidas y sentarme en mi mesa, escuché a otras personas quejándose del servicio lento y de que algunas opciones en el menú no estaban disponibles ( Pescado y patatas fritas y salchicha y puré siendo dos de ellos). Decidí mirar más allá de estas quejas y hacer mi propio veredicto sin embargo. Al principio me sacaron la comida equivocada, recibí pastel y puré en lugar del pollo ahogado que había ordenado, aunque esto se solucionó en unos minutos. Mi comida, sin embargo, era tibia y poco apetecible, los guisantes eran duros y apenas calientes. Ni siquiera terminé la comida e incluso fui a Five Guys después de una hamburguesa, ya que no estaba llena debido a que mi comida no era muy agradable. No volveremos pronto No estoy seguro si esto fue solo uno, pero no estaba satisfecho o impresionado! !

The place is well appointed and had nice Indian music playing in the background. The staff were friendly and attentive. Menu had loads of choice and it arrived promptly and was beautifully served. Very reasonable prices too. I would go again

Tuve la peor experiencia de todas las que he tenido en una cafetería o restaurante aquí recientemente. El hombre detrás del mostrador comenzó muy amable y hablador, pero de repente se volvió y se volvió increíblemente agresivo con nuestra amiga con su bebé recién nacido. Mientras esperábamos que nos atendieran, mi amiga se había llevado a su pequeño bebé para cambiarse en la parte de atrás. El baño no tenía instalaciones y tenía un piso mojado, así que ella salió y lo colocó en una pequeña mesa en el almacén de atrás y siguió con él. El mismo hombre que nos había estado sirviendo salió a la parte de atrás y le dijo que no podía cambiar a su bebé allí. Entonces ella tomó al bebé y lo puso en el piso del baño mojado y lo cambió allí. No es ideal, pero ella siguió adelante. Cuando salió a ser servida, el hombre le gritó y fue tan increíblemente agresivo y grosero que al principio pensé que era una broma. Estaba gritando violentamente y gritándole a Costa donde tienen instalaciones. Ella no entendió porque había hecho lo que él le había pedido, y el nivel de su respuesta fue muy desproporcionado con respecto a lo que estaba enojado. Fue horrible. Realmente impactante. Una vez que nos dimos cuenta de que hablaba muy en serio y daba mucho miedo, nos fuimos. He estado aquí antes y siempre ha estado bien. Pero nunca volveré. Experiencia adecuada de Jekyll y Hyde. Impactante.

Repeating our accommodation experience, the product was good, let down by poor management & staff. Sausages, bacon and croissants were fantastic. But we had to wait for seating, tables to be cleaned and there were no mugs/cups for self serve tea/coffee

An awesome place to visit. Delicious food and affordable prices people were extremely helpful and nice highly recommended

Speedy and friendly service. Jukebox. Scampi fries. Chocolate. Outdoor area. Take-outs permitted. All you need for a passing refuel- glad it re-opened!

I have been ordering from this branch for few weeks, I even gave them really good reviews in the past, today they messed my order up and the man I spoke to was so disrespectful, rather than apologising he was shouting across the phone... I don't deserve this after giving them so much business, I've given them business in person and through ubereats. I will never give my business to them again!!! Disgraceful!!!

We ordered two pizzas from Pappa Johns in Angel a couple weeks back now, 2 stuffed crust pizzas - both showed up apart from one of the pizzas which didn't have its crust stuffed at all. No problem really, it's not that big of a deal. Rang up the store I ordered it from to be greeted by a very rude man who told me how incredibly busy he was to deal with this issue at the moment. I said no worries, all I want to request is a refund for my £2.50 stuffed crust which I've paid for and it hasn't arrived, to which he told me he'd send a fresh pizza, which I refused becuase it's a huge waste of food. I again asked for a refund and he said he'd email about the complaint. 2 weeks later and no email. I actually called the store again last week, to which the same person (less rude this time) said they'd email HR about this. Still waiting today, even after leaving a formal complaint on their company website. Don't waste your time folks, pizza doesn't taste great and you don't get what you order!! I'll make sure to tell all my friends about this utter balls up.

Waited around for quite a while and today 14/06/22 I ordered a mighty bucket for one. I got one wing, one piece of chicken and no mini fillet.... and about 10 chips. Less than half of what you are supposed to get.

Worst place I ever see . Staff are unclean. Food was cold I ask for hot one but don't change my food . The Manager said don't came in my shop again. They all are very rude. Main problem they are unprofessional not clean.
