Good little pub with a great vibe. Awesome burgers by Filthy Buns, I highly recommend the Smokin Gun.
Every burger on the menu has a vegan version which was good as we had two vegans in our group.
Had an interesting experience this evening at Iron Bloom....We walked into an empty restaurant (unheard of on a Saturday night in shoreditch), and unfortunately half the menu was unavailable (including all the desserts) which was disappointing. No real ambience either. The waitress was lovely and was really helpful answering any of our questions but the rest of the staff acted as if they were doing us a favour which made us feel a bit awkward and uncomfortable. Food wise, although limited, we loved the watermelon brisket and beef cheek croquettes. Just a shame there wasn’t more available.
Seems like we came on the wrong evening looking at the rest of the reviews - netherless, I’d expect a little more considering the prices you pay for an evening out.
Went to the tiny shop Doughnut Time and wanted to order doughnuts for a birthday party. They do vegan and gluten free together or separately. Well, I had a great conversation with the young lady in store who went above and beyond her way to help us make the right choices and with the order. She advised we'd order online as they send the doughnuts packaged up to you. Amazing packaging, all our guests were impressed and the gluten free options tasted amazing as did the vegan ones.
Thank you!
Highly recommended I had a tuna melt bagel which was excellent not a fan of cold bagels I like my bagels warmed up the staff are very friendly and welcoming
Buena comida, servicio rápido. Lo recomendaría para el pollo frito picante. Tenga en cuenta que este lugar es solo en efectivo. NO hay quejas, solo buena comida para llevar
Love the location by the River Lee. Perfect for a chill out lunch especially in warmer months. The food is ok, ie feta cheese tastes like a cheap alternative. Music nice and staff all good. For the money I'd like better food though.
So some moisture from the cod seeped onto the plate that made the base of the cod soggy. Either the oil was not hot enough when they deep fried it, or they decided not to serve fresh cod. No tartare sauce provided. Website mentions price, but be prepared to pay a bit more if dining indoors. Not the best £15 spent. A bit disappointing; don’t think I’ll have the cod again. Plus my stomach didn’t like what I ate about an hour later so not sure about the quality of the ingredients used
